Our source and an insider in the Makindye based group said that it is because of the unpaid loans that caused a misunderstanding between the pair.

Previously the duo lost a lot of their investments like land through their former manager Jeff Kiwanuka, now their ‘Monday Money Saver’ theme night at the Hi Table restaurant has been taken over by fellow singer Sheeba.

It is said that the guys who have been the bad boys in the industry have not had a major gig for months now and have been selling off their fancy rides like the Noah which was sold off a few days ago.

To make matters worse, we hear that Weasel has lately been having issues with his health and also Radio has been having problems with his girlfriend Lillian.

Dr. Jose C to hold concert on the same date for Sean Paul - 9th Nov.

Local singer Dr.Jose Chameleone has also set up November 9 for his back to memory lane concert that will be held at club Obbligato.

On this same date, Jamaican singer Sean Paul who is sponsored by Club beer will be performing at the Lugogo Cricket Oval. It will be the first time for him to dare an international artiste by holding a show on the same date.


Chameleone last made such a move when he was launching his ‘Valu Valu’ album as also fellow singer Maurice Kirya launched his ‘Misubawa’ album at the victoria hall at Serena hotel.

Barbie Denies Bobi Relationship Rift.

Barbara Kyagulanyi aka Barbie has hit back at media speculation that her relationship with her husband is on the rocks.

There were reports in the media that the two were fighting after a rumor that the singer has been contacting the mother of his other kid Safiina Mukiibi who leaves in the United Kingdom.

We can confirm that though there has been fire in Magere, the ugly truth is that Barbie accepted the reality that her hubby has gotten another woman.

Facebook to start charging.! Hoax spreads across social network.

Some Facebook users have started posting a message on their walls, and encouraging their friends and family to do the same, claiming that Facebook will start charging this summer.

According to the message, if you post it on your own Facebook wall then you will still be able to use the social network free of charge.

There's no link to any supporting evidence to the claim, and users would be right to treat it with extreme skepticism!

The truth is that Facebook has no plans to charge its users for accessing the site - indeed, it would be a very odd time for them to announce such a controversial move, just as its freely-available Google+ rival is launched.

My guess is that someone has started the chain letter as a piece of mischief - curious as to how many people they could fool into posting the message onto their Facebook pages.

It's not the first time, of course, that Facebook users have been duped by hoaxes and chain letters. For instance, earlier this year, messages were spreading that because the social network had become too slow the site was considering deleting inactive accounts. Again, totally bogus.

Doreen Kabareebe Graduates in Modeling.

City model Doreen Kabareebe has completed a three year modeling course with flying colours from Latif Academy Talent School. Doreen who could not hide her excitement said: "Happy to graduate after the 3yr modeling course as the best model, thanx Latif.''

Doreen's father tried very much to desist her from the social life but all in vain as the daughter had chosen modeling. Doreen has participated in several beauty pageants including Miss Uganda and the Miss All Central University beauty pageant.

Early this year, model Doreen Kabareebe was involved in a boda-boda accident as she rushed for lectures at Nkumba University, so her pals were forced to ask her if she had abandoned that course for modeling, the city model said that she will be graduating in October. Now with this October coming to an end, chances are she was referring to Oct next year.

Doreen is still fresh in our minds after her butt went on full display during the Sisqo flopped show. She told whoever cared to listen that she was backstage dressing when that happened but most fashion experts and analysts did not buy the explanation.

Zari and Ivan Back Together after Family Meeting.

Following a family meeting held at Serena Hotel last Monday, the celebrity couple that had taken a break four months back is now on kissing terms and back together leaving basketball player Isaac and soupy Nickita heart broken.

It's not clear if the reasons that led to the break up have been fully resolved but what we know for now is that after the Monday meeting with in-laws from both parties, Ivan and Zari agreed to work things out and their first night together was yesterday in South Africa.

The couple was all over each other like new lovers who had just met on a night out. Zari tweeted that: "Just touched SA base oba UG yandoga, miss it mob already but miss ma kids more so no regrets....."

The news of the break-up was a shocker to many who had known this couple for the last 12 years and bearing in mind that Ivan had spent over a billion shillings on their introduction ceremony in Munyonyo last year, it was shocking to many.

During the short break, Isaac Lugudde was assuming Ivan's shoes by hobnobbing with Zari while Ivan hooked a one Nickita whose skin complexion was exactly like that of Zari, meaning that much as she was gone, he still needed her in his life.

Ivan has always been a laid back person but when Zari's picture with Lugudde leaked, he came out of his shell and started spending like there was no tomorrow. This was money that he could have otherwise been spending on Zari but because of the Lugudde issue, he decided to give it out in a 'KiNigerian' style.

Producer Washington Now A Music Judge.

Judith Babirye and Fyonna To Release a Duet.

Uganda’s UK based sensation and upcoming artist Fyonna Nsubuga has collaborated and recorded a Gospel song with Uganda’s leading and Gospel chat topper Judith Babirye. Both artists met in London during the summer at a time when Judith Babirye was on her 2012 UK tour.

Judith Babirye who is not known for recording duets due to protection of her good image was overjoyed by Fyonna's music talent and dedication. The song titled Yammanyi Mukama was composed after a church service by both artists in West London at Global Ministries Restoration Church headed by Pastor Sarah Sekamate.

The song which is scheduled to officially be released by the end of October on video has so far been performed in different venues around London and has left many Ugandan Londoners inspired by the message in the song and amazed by the quality of both voices.

As a result a Launch is being demanded by fans that have seen the duo perform the song. Also Insiders believe once this song hits the air waves, it could potentially be considered as 2012 duet of the year because of the unique but amazing voices of both artists.

Fyonna Nsubuga came on to the Ugandan music scene this year with an album called Ndikulinda and continues to surprise the Industry. This down to earth but ambitious artist wrote and composed the Uganda Cranes fans song and was the first artist to be invited by FUFA to sing the national anthems of both countries Congo and Uganda at Nambole in June.

She is also the first ever artist from the diaspora to be invited and perform at Simba’s Kigunda 2012 sponsored by MTN.

Ronald Mugula wins Andras Nagy by Technical Knockout.

Andras Nagy finally lost from Uganda after he was convincingly thumped by Ronald Mugula at Kyadondo Rugby grounds.

Prior to the fight, Mugula had promised to revenge for Moses Golola’s defeat to Nagy last year. Mugula kept his promise as he beat Andras Nagy in the second round.

The fight that was supposed to have five rounds ended in the second round after Mugula thumped Nagy and the latter got an injury that would not see him continue with the fight.

Ronald Mugula won with a technical knockout.

Mugula now has a record 43 wins from a total 59 fights in Europe and Africa. Mugula weigh 67kg while Nagy weigh 68kg before the fight.

At the end of the fight, Ronald Mugula walked away with the Mauy Thai super welterweight world title.

Before the main fight, different celebrities showed up and expressed their support for Mugula. Moses Golola The Hot Temper stepped in to the ring and declared his support for his fellow country men.

Keith Urban Angry with American Idol Producers.

KEITH Urban has been threatening to quit American Idol.

The country music superstar is furious that his co-judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are at war.

“They don’t pay me enough to have to deal with this crap,” Keith said, according to the National Enquirer. Urban’s said to be taking home around $4m a season.

Dr. Jose C, Keko and Jackie Chandiru nominated for Kisima Awards.

Yesterday, the Kisima Awards team released a nomination list of those artistes who made it through. Out of 300 entries received in different categories which equal to 12, finally the team has released final nominees list.

Jose Chameleone, Keko and Jackie Chandiru were the only artists in Uganda who made it to the list. However, Juliana only appears on the list as a feature on Alicious's song Mpita jia.


On the list, Keko appears on the Best collabo of the year category with her song "Make you dance" where Madtraxx featured her. Chameleone and Jackie appear on the list with "Valu Valu" and "Gold Digger" songs which were nominated in the East Africa Recognition Award category.

WEIRD NEWS: ‘Retweeting’ & ‘Liking’ a Crime Under New Philippine Law.

If you have not been paying attention, a law was passed on September 12 by Philippine’s President Benigno Aquino, which has had the country in an uproar challenging that it violates the right to free speech.

The law in question Republic Act No.10175, better known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, has some elements that are good, like allowing the identification and punishment of internet crimes such as hacking, identity theft, and spam. However, it is the elements relating to online libel and the ability to block websites without a court order that have people upset and filing petitions against it.

Apparently, the law is so vague that even retweeting, linking, or sharing an update or post that has criticisms would be considered a crime and punishable under law.

Anonymous Philippines has been very active hacking numerous organizations and websites, as well as many political officials, like Senator Teofisto Guingona III, who are petitioning the Supreme Court to have the questionable elements of the law declared unconstitutional.

Gucci Mane Ready For A Big 2013, Plans On Dropping 10 Albums Next Year.

Gucci Mane is hoping to be able to put together ten albums in 2013 and says he already has the records planned out. Mane also explained that even with the work he has done he should be able to put out several full-length projects in the coming year.

Mane was clear that he had set his sights a little higher than spending 2013 dropping mixtapes or EPs. “My goal is to drop 10 projects in 2013. All albums. I gotta do it. I know the 10 projects I want to drop,” Mane told Billboard.com’s The Juice.

The rapper indicated that he had almost 40% of his workload finished, which leaves a lot to be done but nonetheless implies that he could pull off his objective. “I got a lot of work to do. We collectively have a lot of work to do, but we’re ready to work,” admitted Mane.

Gunplay Allegedly To Turn Himself Into Police Today For Armed Robbery and Assault Charges.

Gunplay may have to interrupt his career following reports that the Maybach Music Group rapper will have to turn himself in to police. Details surrounding the precise reason why Gunplay is in trouble with the law are unclear, but it looks like he may have to serve time.

Back in May, Miami-Dade county police apparently issued a warrant for Gunplay’s arrest on charges of armed robbery and assault, according to DDotMen.com who posted an alleged copy of the warrant. The rumors have been confirmed by Angela Yee of Power 105’s The Breakfast Club who added that the rapper will turn himself in today.

Young Buck’s Personal Possessions Being Sold Online Through Auction Site eBay.

Young Buck’s personal belongings are now being auctioned off on the web through eBay.

Although it’s sad to see Young Buck’s career be so negatively affected the way it has been over the last few years, fans of the former G-Unit rapper will be happy to know they can now get their hands on some items that used to be owned by Buck himself.

While Young Buck serves his three year prison sentence on weapons possession charges, many of the Nashville representative’s personal belongings have been showing up on eBay over the past week. Items include things like a craps table, mechanics jacket, and much more.


Some of the lower priced items are selling for around $300, while higher ticket items are fetching upwards of thousands of dollars through Vintagemusicgear on eBay.

The sale is all part of the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy liquidation process, to which creditors have submitted claims totaling over $11 million. Interestingly enough, $10 million of that $11.5 million total is from his former label G-Unit Records over a contract dispute with Buck.

Buck has already stated that the prison sentence won’t stop him from putting out new music, and fans can expect new Young Buck content to hit the music scene soon.

Thriller "Taken 2" grabs U.S. movie box office crown.

(Reuters) - Liam Neeson thriller "Taken 2" captured the No. 1 spot on movie box office charts over the weekend with a brawny $50 million (31 million pounds) take from theatres in the United States and Canada.

"Taken 2" stars Neeson as a former CIA agent kidnapped during a vacation in Istanbul. The movie added $55 million from some 50 international markets for a global opening of $117 million including Korea where it opened earlier, distributor 20th Century Fox said.

The strong debut for "Taken 2" pushed last weekend's winner, family flick "Hotel Transylvania," to second place. The movie about a hotel run by Dracula earned $26.3 million from Friday through Sunday, according to studio estimates compiled by Reuters. Comedy "Pitch Perfect" snagged the No. 3 slot with $14.7 million.

North American (U.S. and Canadian) sales for "Taken 2" were more than double the original film's, which opened in January 2009 with $24.7 million and ultimately grossed a surprising $227 million around the world. The movie lifted Neeson to the ranks of Hollywood action stars, leading to roles in movies such as "Clash of the Titans" and "The Grey."

"This so exceeded our expectations going in," said Chris Aronson, executive vice president of domestic distribution at 20th Century Fox, noting that Fox had anticipated something "in the mid-30s range" after what he called a "sluggish market" since the summer.

"The come in at $50 million is really remarkable, and a testament to this character that Liam has created," Aronson told Reuters.

The executive noted that the audience was almost evenly split male-female, and also played strongly across age groups, with more than half over the age of 25.

Fox co-financed the film with Europa Corp, the company run by "Taken" writer and director Luc Besson, and contributed $36 million to its budget, Aronson said. Reports have put the total budget at about $50 million.

"American Idol" Producers Finally Address Nicki Minaj/Mariah Carey Beef.

Producers behind "American Idol" have finally stepped forward to address the current Nicki Minaj/Mariah Carey rift and promised all is well in the world of reality television.

Despite documented footage of Minaj and Mariah sparring, the producers claim there are some inaccuracies in the alleged beef reports.

"This is one of the best, most passionate, dynamic and invested judging panels we've ever had. We love and support all of the judges and the fantastic work they are doing, and we can't imagine a better group to find the next American Idol," reads the statement. "Despite all the accusations and media speculation -- much of which is inaccurate -- production is going extremely well today and the judges are focused on finding the best talent here in Baton Rouge." Whitney Houston's mother Cissy is reportedly terrified her granddaughter Bobbi Kristina will succumb to a drug overdose. She allegedly wants to delay Whitney's daughter from receiving her inheritance, in a bid to stop her from picking up dangerous, illegal habits.

Whitney Houston sadly died on 11th February this year, leaving behind 19 year old daughter Bobbi. She drowned in the bath after a reported heavy cocaine binge in a Beverley Hills hotel room.

Bobbi's devastated family are allegedly desperate for the youngster to avoid a similar fate, and want to hold back the multi-million dollar fortune that is rightfully hers.

Sources close to Cissy reportedly told TMZ that Whitney's mother feels Bobbi is currently surrounded by numerous negative influences, including her boyfriend Nick Gordon and father Bobby Brown. The grandma fears that they will drain Bobbi's fortune given half the chance.

TMZ report that Whitney's mother also believes the19-year-old is under a lot of pressure and is easily influnced at the moment. If she's given millions of dollars to play with, Bobbi could end up going off the rails, eventually dying just like Whitney. Cissy is doing her best to ensure that doesn't happen, hoping to give Bobbi the money when she is fully mature.

The teenager will inherit roughly $20 million dollars, but it's unclear when.

Lady Gaga becomes first person to gain 30 million Twitter Followers.

Lady Gaga has set another Twitter record by becoming the first figure to accumulate 30 million followers.

The 'Born This Way' star's popularity on the site has been unparalleled in the past 18 months, after she previously became the first person to notch up 10 million followers on the service last May and 20 million in March. Recently, meanwhile, marketing experts also claimed that the singer made $30 million (£18.9 million) via her Twitter account.

Starcount.com now reports that the singer has reached a new milestone on the site and is thought to add an extra 30,000 followers to her account every day, placing her ahead of Justin Bieber (28 million followers), Katy Perry (27 million) and Rihanna (26 million).

Previously, however, a study by social media company Status People suggested that Gaga's number of fans on the site had been inflated due to the number of inactive users or spamming accounts known as "bots" amongst her followers. They claimed that 71% of her followers could be fake.

Bow Wow is the New Co-Host for 106 & Park.

Cash Money Records rapper Bow Wow can now add television personality to his growing résumé after getting announced as the new co-host of BET's "106 & Park" weekday show.

Along with Bow Weezy, three additional entertainers will share hosting duties.

After Terrence J and Rocsi Diaz's emotional departure from BET's 106 & Park, the music countdown show has named rapper/actor Bow Wow the new host alongside Ms. Mykie from Houston, Texas; Paigion and Shorty Da Prince, from Detroit, Michigan. Contestants went through weeks of "The Search" from online video submissions to on-air screen tests. Ms. Mykie, Paigion and Shorty beat out thousands of hopefuls to land the prestigious spots, which has been filled in the past by the likes of AJ Calloway, Free and Big Tigger. (VIBE Vixen)

Weeks after R&B diva Mariah Carey denied having a beef with fellow "American Idol" panelist Nicki Minaj, new video footage has surfaced online which tells a different story.

In the footage, the Young Money star is seen going off on Carey.

Nicki Minaj derailed the "American Idol" auditions in Charlotte, North Carolina today, after swearing at Mariah Carey and threatening, "I'm gonna knock you out" ... sources tell TMZ. In the footage, obtained by TMZ, Nicki is clearly furious ... shouting, "I told them, I'm not f*ckin' putting up with her f*ckin' highness over there." Sources say Nicki later threatened to "knock out" Mariah ... but that part wasn't captured on tape. It all went down while the two were sitting at the judge's table ... with Keith Urban sitting in between them and Randy Jackson sitting on the far end, next to Mariah. (TMZ)

The outburst reportedly had something to do with an audition.

We're told the whole thing exploded over a disagreement about a contestant's performance. Sebaggala praises, then attacks Jeniffer Musisi.

Former Kampala Mayor Nasser Ntege Sebaggala has expressed his pleasure at the way Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director Jennifer Musisi treats Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago.

Speaking to The Observer on Saturday, Sebaggala said Lukwago, of all people, should not complain about Musisi’s actions because she is implementing “kugogola kibuga”, a key statement in Lukwago’s manifesto for last year’s mayoral campaign.

“Lukwago should stop crying crocodile tears because he is on record for mobilising fellow MPs to pass the KCCA Act, not forgetting that he pressed the executive director to reconstruct the taxi parks immediately when the lady was saying there was no money. Now that she is doing the needful, what more does Lukwago want?” Sebaggala asked.

However, Sebaggala, now an advisor to President Museveni, condemned Musisi for starting the demolition of Centenary park and other structures in wetlands. He said the defunct Kampala City Council’s decision to give out the park to Ms Nalongo Estates of Sarah Kizito was plausible because the place had been a den for thieves.

Sebaggala pointed out that demolishing Centenary park while ignoring Oasis mall located in the same green park made Ugandans second-class citizens in their own country because the former was owned by Sarah Kizito, a Ugandan, and the latter by a Somali national.

Demolitions

Sebaggala says 75% of Kampala is a wetland and that unless the ongoing demolition is selectively done, most buildings in the city would be brought to the ground.

Rick Ross to land tomorrow for 2012 Serengeti FIESTA.

American Hip Hop star, William Leonard Roberts II aka Rick Ross is expected to land tomorrow ready for his performance in 2012 Serengeti FIESTA at Leaders Club grounds in Dar es Salaam.

Dar es Salaam Serengeti Fiesta will rock the City on Saturday 06Th October, 2012 collecting different musicians from Tanzania.


Speaking in Dar es Salaam yesterday, Serengeti Lager Manager, Allan Chonjo said Tanzanians should get ready for Serengeti Fiesta which will be with special taste.

“Tanzanians should continue to believe Serengeti Fiesta and all enjoyments which we arrange all days. The end of this Fiesta will be the start of next year’s Fiesta.” Chonjo said.

Rick Ross who has been shining with different songs such as Hustlin, So sophisticated, Black Magic and Hold Me Back and other many songs will be performing in Tanzania for the first time.
