Prior to the fight, Mugula had promised to revenge for Moses Golola’s defeat to Nagy last year. Mugula kept his promise as he beat Andras Nagy in the second round.
The fight that was supposed to have five rounds ended in the second round after Mugula thumped Nagy and the latter got an injury that would not see him continue with the fight.
Ronald Mugula won with a technical knockout.
Mugula now has a record 43 wins from a total 59 fights in Europe and Africa. Mugula weigh 67kg while Nagy weigh 68kg before the fight.
At the end of the fight, Ronald Mugula walked away with the Mauy Thai super welterweight world title.
Before the main fight, different celebrities showed up and expressed their support for Mugula. Moses Golola The Hot Temper stepped in to the ring and declared his support for his fellow country men.
