Back in May, Miami-Dade county police apparently issued a warrant for Gunplay’s arrest on charges of armed robbery and assault, according to DDotMen.com who posted an alleged copy of the warrant. The rumors have been confirmed by Angela Yee of Power 105’s The Breakfast Club who added that the rapper will turn himself in today.
Last weekend, Gunplay was involved in a scuffle during the recording of the BET Hip-Hop Awards, which airs tonight, and video surfaced following the altercation that showed him fighting with members of 50 Cent’s crew.
The rapper aptly marked the occasion with the release of a new song called ‘Rap Sheet,’ and the line on his track ‘I Got Dat Stack’ where he raps “Police knowing that I’m duckin” may have some truth behind it.
