Missy Elliott may have been out of the game for a while now, but her contributions will never be forgotten. As she begins to build the hype for her forthcoming album, Missy Elliott sat down with the folks at Fuse to talk about her debut project ‘Supa Dupa Fly.’
“I consider Supa Dupa Fly a great album because everything about it,” she said. “You hadn’t heard it before, you hadn’t heard that sound. Even the rap flows were different. I think it was 10 years ahead, 15 years ahead. It’s funny, we did that album in two weeks.”
Missy Elliott has been gearing up for her new, yet untitled album by dropping several different singles including both 9th Inning and Triple Threat alongside Timbaland. Although it has no official release date, Missy lets fans know that the album will be crazy.
“This album is so crazy. People be like, ‘Welcome back. We glad you back.’ No. This will say we never left. There’s nothing like it,” she expressed in a previous interview.
