Judith Babirye who is not known for recording duets due to protection of her good image was overjoyed by Fyonna's music talent and dedication. The song titled Yammanyi Mukama was composed after a church service by both artists in West London at Global Ministries Restoration Church headed by Pastor Sarah Sekamate.
The song which is scheduled to officially be released by the end of October on video has so far been performed in different venues around London and has left many Ugandan Londoners inspired by the message in the song and amazed by the quality of both voices.
As a result a Launch is being demanded by fans that have seen the duo perform the song. Also Insiders believe once this song hits the air waves, it could potentially be considered as 2012 duet of the year because of the unique but amazing voices of both artists.
Fyonna Nsubuga came on to the Ugandan music scene this year with an album called Ndikulinda and continues to surprise the Industry. This down to earth but ambitious artist wrote and composed the Uganda Cranes fans song and was the first artist to be invited by FUFA to sing the national anthems of both countries Congo and Uganda at Nambole in June.
She is also the first ever artist from the diaspora to be invited and perform at Simba’s Kigunda 2012 sponsored by MTN.
