Owen Kasule signs 2 year contract with URA FC. Is URA spending Tax Payers' Money.?

Uganda Cranes midfielder Owen Kasule has finally joined Bell Uganda Cup champions URA FC signing a two year deal that will see him ply his trade at the Lugazi based side till 2014. The former Bunamwaya player has spent the whole of last week training with the tax collectors at Gayaza training ground.

The U-23 skipper whose contract with Vietnam V-League side Hoanga Anh Gia Lai expired on 16th, April this year joins Alex Isabirye's side as a free agent.

This brings the number of signings for URA FC since the opening of the primary transfer window on 2nd, July to five. Kasule teams up with new acquisitions Yasin Mugabi from Proline FC, Yayo Lutimba and Erisha Ssekisambu from Express and winger Eurukana Nkugwa whose contract at Villa had expired at the end of last season.

Kasule is seen as a good replacement for want away skipper Manko Kawesa. All the new acquisitions are set to make their debuts in the forthcoming CECAFA club championship that kicks off in Tanzania Sunday, 14th July.
