Apparently Gashumba is not impressed by Goodlyfe’s philanthropy. Gashumba who in a verbatim of words said the Goodlyfe duo of Mowzey Radio and Weasel TV have been stingy when it comes to giving back to society. “Despite all the money they earn, these young boys can't even organize a concert aimed at helping some sick or need people,” said Gashumba.
Gashumba who many think was irked by the blind eye and deaf ear the goodlyfe to the Bududa landslides. “Whereas other music artistes managed to send in support, these two were in their Never-land sipping champagne,” he added on sarcastically.
However these words have not gone well with the Goodlyfe who are now ready to return fire for fire. This has not been the best of musical years for the duo and many think their music career has partly stagnated. The Goodlyfe have promised to release a song about hypocrites. They accuse Gashumba of lying to the public that he is so generous. “He even squandered the money which the citizenry donated towards the appeal to help Nabukeera,” an angry Radio ranted.
The goodlyfe are have also reminded Gashumba to mind his business and that he should not forget his former stunt in prison over non-payments to a Pakistani car dealer. The Goodlyfe believe Gashumba being a Rwandan wants to overstep the music stability by politicizing the industry thus making the Rwandan music industry thrive on the downfall of the Ugandan music industry.
However, Sheila Gashumba, the teenage daughter of Gashumba also threw fire back at Weasel on her facebook wall telling him to work on his pimples. The sixteen year old is a presenter on NTV’s T-nation and a model. She is also a student at Kabojja international school. So we ask our readers, Is this beef called for and should a sixteen year old get involved in outbursts of words between three big men?
