Samsung launches Top 40 chart app for Galaxy Devices.

Samsung teames up with MusicQubed to launch an Official Top 40 Chart App for its Galaxy Devices.

The application will be launched on the Galaxy Ace 2 and offer unlimited plays of tracks in the Top 40 Singles Chart.

Music will be automatically downloaded and cached overnight so that it is ready for the user to stream the next morning. The app will be updated daily, and include bonus features such as celebrity news and gossip.

Facebook and Twitter integration enables users to share comments on the latest tracks and let their friends know what they have been listening to.

Simon Stanford, vice president at Samsung UK, said: "Access to all the latest chart hits instantly and exclusively free on Samsung devices, the Official Top 40 Chart App is a great content offering and is the latest example of Samsung's drive to provide innovative technology to suit our customers' lifestyles."

The Official Top 40 Chart App, which offers ad-free playback, will be available at no cost for a two-month trial period. An 'access all areas pass' costs £1 per month.
