The sexy, single lady with a sweetlicious voice is this time partnering with Kampala pharmaceutical industries. Together with the company, they will give out free malaria treatment to the 1st 3,000 people on 30 -june -2012 at old Kampala.
Angella Katatumba is one of those musicians who did much to highlight the plight of the war victims during the LRA insurgency in Northern Uganda and helped to raise funds aimed at helping those in the Internal Displacement Camps (IDPs). Katatumba has a foundation by the name of Angella Katatumba Foundation and it seems this Daddy’s girl has a real caring heart for society.
Though her music has not found much airplay in Uganda due to its being delivered in English, she has continued to have a good international fan base that has seen some of her songs used in movies. She is the daughter of Bonny Katatumba, and together they run Hotel Diplomat in Muyenga. Angella is believed to be the most educated music artiste in Uganda with a masters degree on her back-up to the claim.
