Birdman Maps Out YMCMB Takeover. Plans 16 Album Releases in 2012.

Cash Money Records co-founder Birdman is planning to take 2012 by storm with the release of nearly 20 albums by the third quarter.

Birdman plans to put out new music ranging from rapper Bow Wow's Cash Money debut to Young Money star Nicki Minaj's sophomore LP.

Baby's ambition is clear: the flamboyant Cash Money CEO wants to release 16 albums under the YMCMB umbrella within the first six months of this year. "I think bringing Fred [Durst] and Limp Bizkit to the team gives us a different look," Birdman says. "We dominate rap, but we're also trying to grow in different areas; Pop, rock, gospel, country."

Already, there's a rash of artists under the YMCMB umbrella with music on the way. Bow Wow's, Underrated, LP and Lil Twist's, Don't Get It Twisted drop a week apart on March 13 and March 20, respectively, while Nicki Minaj's, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is slated for April 3. New albums from Busta Rhymes and Mystikal--also new YMCMB signees--have summer release dates as well. (XXL Mag)

3) TV
Reality TV is the De facto programming choice on networks and even Seymour Butts had a reality show about his life in the adult business. Who wouldn’t tune in to see how a retired porn star fills her time and takes her career in new places? Again, if Snooki can command an audience doing pretty much nothing, Jada could invite a few of her friends over to play Words With Friends and get folks to tune in.

4) Instructor/Lecturer
All of Jada’s fans know that she has a unique skill and talent that we don’t have to spell out here, but imagine if she gave lessons? Women could sign up or men could buy them for their ladies–or just watch. Imagine the hilarious scene in Old School with Andy Dick teaching BJs, except this would actually be sexy.

If that’s too intense she could go on the lecture circuit talking about her career and why she left the porn business. Why do one interview when you could get paid to do dozens in front of a crowd? If Karrine Steffans can work a podium Jada can.

5) Politician
Several adult stars have run for public office and one has even succeeded. Mimi Miyagi, born Melody Damayo, ran for Nevada Governor in 2006 and Ilona Staller, aka “La Cicciolina,” was elected to the Italian parliament in 1987. I know of a few local politicians I wouldn’t mind kicking out and the campaign posters alone would be collectors items. Not to mention that millions of men have already pulled a lever in her honor.

Actor-turned-rapper Pinky XXX dispelled rumors that she had contracted HIV. An article was published claiming that she had contracted the disease from actor named Darren James who retired from porn in 2004 after testing positive for HIV. However, Pinky didn’t begin filming porn until 2006.

50 Cent Says Trip To Africa Has Inspired Him To Record New Music.

50 Cent explains how his trip to Kenya was "enlightening."

50 Cent recently took a trip to Africa earlier this month to further his mission to alleviate hunger - a visit that has inspired him to hit the studio. During an interview with the Associated Press, Fif said that his lyrics are motivated by his experiences in Kenya but that fans will have to listen closely to interpret his message.

"I've put portions of my experience there in the actual songs, but it's so small that they'll have to listen to get it," he said. "I wanted to keep the record, creatively, in a space where when people listen to it, they just enjoy it before they can really understand what it was I'm saying; there's things on it that have double meanings."

Fiddy has made it his mission to stop hunger in Africa, donating proceeds from sales of his energy drink Street King to the cause. He explained how seeing hunger firsthand has inspired him and that he’s provided more than 3.5 million meals so far.

Birdman Explains Signing Limp Bizkit To Cash Money.

Birdman discusses signing the Nu Metal band.

Cash Money turned heads last week when the label signed late 90s-early 2000s Rock-Rap band Limp Bizkit.

Now, label head Birdman explains what spurred the surprising move.

“Fred [Durst] reached out, bruh,” Birdman said in an interview with XXLmag.com. “It was weird how it happened. He was like, ‘Stunna, what’s good?’ I was like, ‘What’s poppin, 5?’ [Fred said] ‘I wanna join the team.’ Whoa! For real? He didn’t have to say it twice. I was already a fan of him. When the opportunity came, we really was supposed to announce it at the Grammys. Wayne was going to announce it at the Grammys, but he did it when he felt like it.”

Birdman added that the group's first single features Lil Wayne and will come out next week.

“He’s a visionary, he a great artist,” Birdman said of Durst. “Also, I want him to be a part of our staff and take over the rock department and bring us over more talent because that’s what he does. I think with having Limp he brings a lot."

Lil Wayne To Release His First Signature Shoe Line

Lil Wayne plans to put out his first line of kicks, though he didn't reveal which company will release them.

Lil Wayne has revealed that he plans to release his first signature shoe line.

Speaking with VIBE.com, Weezy remained relatively mum on the details, but said that the shoes will not be released on his Trukfit fashion shingle. Instead, he plans to partner with a major brand, though he wouldn’t reveal which one.

“I do have a shoe coming out soon but it won’t be Trukfit,” he said. “I have [a] shoe with a well-known company. I just don’t want to say yet because I haven’t dotted the line yet. But it’s done.”

He responded to speculation that the line could be coming out on Supra, but would not confirm. “Nah, it’s not a Nike or Reebok, I can tell you that much,” said Wayne, addressing a possible Supra collaboration. “Uh-oh. Watch out.”

Hype surrounding the actress/singer's alleged nip slip exploded onto Twitter following Sunday's awards show.

It's bound to happen. A live event, chock full of celebrities, all wearing delicate attire. But as far as wardrobe malfunctions go, this one was at least pretty civil. While presenting an award beside Cameron Diaz early on at the Oscars tonight, Jennifer Lopez's low-cut dress revealed a slight glimpse of her chest. Big Sean Confirms Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa & No I.D. For His Sophomore Album.

Big Sean says that his second studio LP will take his sound to "another level."

Big Sean is currently at work on his sophomore album, the follow up to last year’s Finally Famous: The Album. For the project, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper says that he has already gotten production from Kanye West, KeY Wane and No I.D., and that Wiz Khalifa and ‘Ye drop verses on the LP.

“Yeah, there’s going to be some Kanye production. We had a couple of Kanye productions for the first one but they didn’t make the cut. One got sample clearance, couldn’t get the sample cleared in time, and the other one we just didn’t think it fit the album. Yeah, we got a lot of stuff on deck,” he told Bootleg Kev.

The Detroit, Michigan native also spoke on a concept song he has with No I.D. Though he wouldn’t get into the specifics of the record, he promised that it’s an inspirational cut that will “change the world.”

“No I.D., we’ve got a song that’s going to change the world. It’s very inspiring,” he revealed. “The inspiration, when you’re inspired, when you get inspired, that’s the best thing to do, through your music. I could tell you it’s an inspirational record that’s going to change the world. One verse, I rap from a perspective and the other, I rap from a crazy perspective. It’s a concept record, it’s crazy.”

Compared to his debut, Sean says that fans will be able to appreciate his growth. He considers himself a much better rapper now, and plans to take his music to “another level.”

“I think it did the right thing. Now, I can take it to another level with the artistry, and that’s what I’m really excited about, to be able to grow from there and go hard. I feel my new music is more reminiscent of my earlier work, only way better because I’m a way better rapper now. So I think that’s the best way to do it, to really take me back to what got me to where I am and just take it to another level.”

Drake Responds To Beefs With Pusha T, Ludacris And Future

Drake airs out his publicized feuds with a bevy of Hip Hop's biggest acts in the latest issue of Vibe.

Drake and Common may have squashed their highly publicized beef, but that doesn't mean that the Young Money rapper is finished airing out his dirty laundry in public. Now, the rapper addresses several other feuds he has going with Pusha T, Ludacris and Future.

In the February/March issue of Vibe, Drizzy spoke on his past beefs with rappers Future, Ludacris and Pusha T. Beginning with Future's comments that Drake's absence from the video of the "Tony Montana" remix was "a slap in the face," Drake said that he has no issues with Future.

"I’ve got no issues with [Future]," he said. "I’m happy I got on the song ['Tony Montana']."

Drizzy then turned his focus to Ludacris, who attacked him and Big Sean on his song "Badaboom" over their hash-tag style of rap. He chalked up the diss record to an attempt on Luda's part to capitalize off his fame.

"[Ludacris,] that’s a case of someone trying to use my marketing money to get things going again for themselves," he said explained. "That didn’t affect my day, my month, my year. I didn’t take any of that seriously."

Finally, Drake tackled the subject of Pusha T's supposed diss on the song "Don't Fuck With Me," which featured lines like "The talk don’t match the leather/The swag don’t match the sweaters" that sparked speculation among listeners. The YMCMB star couldn't explain the reason for the possible shot, postulating that, "maybe that guy is bored."

"[As for Pusha T's subliminal shots,] I’ve been really open about my love for the Clipse. I don’t know [why he dissed me], maybe that guy is bored,” he touted.

Q-Tip, Common & Nas Rumored To Team As Super Group The Standard

Though it’s all just hearsay, rumors were flying this week that Common, Q-Tip and Nas were planning on joining forces as super group The Standard. The origins of the project lie in 2007, when Tip and Com announced that they would be forming the super group. But, according to the New York Daily News, Nas is slated to get in on the action, though official plans are yet to be made for an album. When asked if he would be recording with the pair, Nas proclaimed, “Definitely,” fueling speculation that the trio could be hitting the studio relatively soon. In the meantime, Nasir is working on his upcoming LP Life is Good, while Tip is recording the follow-up to his 2008 sophomore release The Renaissance.

After a week of buildup, MTV finally unleashed its Hottest MCs of 2011 list, crowning Rick Ross as the king of the year. Additional emcees to make the cut included Drake (No. 2), Kanye West (No. 3), Nicki Minaj (No. 4) and Lil Wayne (No. 5), as well as Jay-Z, Meek Mill, Big Sean, Wiz Khalifa and Wale. "I just got the news that I was voted the game's Hottest MC, and man, it really means a lot to me, of course, but it's an honor," Ross told the network at the time. UPDATE: DMX On Shredding Rick Ross' MMG Offer, "I Wouldn't Sign W/ 'That' Label" [Video].

After making headlines last summer with reports claiming rap star Rick Ross was interested in signing him to Maybach Music Group, former Ruff Ryders leader DMX has explained his reasoning behind turning down the opportunity.

While not going into full details, X said he wants a label which will give him creative control and sufficient promotion.

"What's MMG," X asked before being told it stands for Maybach Music Group. "Nah, see what happened, I got a letter when I was in prison like, 'Yo, yo, you know, we'll send a limo for you and da-da-da da-da,' I appreciated the offer and all of that but I really couldn't see it happening like that. You know what I'm saying? ... [Signing with MMG?] I said I wouldn't sign with 'that' label. I don't have a problem with the name or the label, how many letters are on there, just get me what I need, man. Proper promotion, that's it. That's it, and creative control, that's all I need." Last July, X revealed he would likely pass on the MMG record deal offer.

DMX was released from Yuma Prison in Yuma, Arizona at about 5:30 a.m. PT on Tuesday (July 19) and the dog made it clear to XXL that he's an unsigned "free agent" who can't wait to release his next album...It just won't be on Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group. "Nah, probably not," the Yonkers native told XXL exclusively live on location in Arizona, in between being disappointed by a Dillard's department store's clothing collection that morning and hitting the studio late that night. DMX wouldn't delve into why he was dismissing the alleged offer of signing to the Boss's MMG imprint, but promised that his next album - no release date as of press time - will return realness and rawness to hip-hop. In June, X detailed Ross' interest in signing him to Maybach Music.

"Rick Ross' peoples wrote me a letter while I was in here," he revealed in an interview. "Yeah like 'Yo we got a home for you. We'll pick you up in a limo. Just come to Miami. Just come, we got you.' ... I'm thinking about it. It was a good feeling. I respect him as an artist, and I would like to work with him. But he got the whole Illuminati thing going on. UPDATE: Juvenile Backs That Arrest Warrant Up, "This Is A Bunch Of Bullsh*t".

Former Cash Money Records rapper Juvenile has spoken out on reports claiming he is a wanted man in relation to a $160,000 child support case, claiming fans should not believe the "deadbeat dad" speculation.

Admitting he had no knowledge of the active warrant, Juvie said the legal matter is now being handled by his attorney.

TMZ just spoke with the "Back That Azz Up" rapper ... who put it bluntly, "This is a bunch of bullsh*t." As we previously reported, Juvenile is a wanted man in Louisiana for allegedly stiffing his baby mama out of more than $160k in child support for their 13-year-old son. But the rapper tells us, "I was never informed that there was a warrant out for my arrest." He explains, "My son stays with me most of the time ... I take care of my son ... I love my son. We asked how Juv plans to proceed now that he's aware of the legal situation ... to which he replied, "Now that I know, my lawyer is on it ... I'm going to handle it." (TMZ)

BREAKING NEWS: Arrest Warrant Issued For Juvenile For $160,000 In Unpaid Child Support.

Juvenile faces 90 days in prison for failing to shell out bucks in child support.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Juvenile in Louisiana over $160,000 in unpaid child support to his baby's mother Dionne Williams.

According to TMZ, Juvie has failed to fork over child support for their 13-year-old son since December 2006. The former Cash Money rapper faces up to 90 days in prison for his unwillingness to pay.

While Louisiana law can be strict for deadbeat dads, Juvenile could delay time in prison if he pays $50,000 immediately.

Lil Wayne Confirms Cash Money Signed Limp Bizkit, Ashanti May Be Next.

Lil Wayne shares that Limp Bizkit is now signed to Cash Money and says they may be working with Ashanti as well.

Over the years, Cash Money Records has opened its doors as a home to established and new artists alike. Recently, Lil Wayne revealed that Cash Money signed the Rock/Rap group Limp Bizkit. He then shared that Ashanti may become part of the Cash Money collective as well.

"Every other day I hear about somebody new signed to Cash Money," Wayne explained in an interview with Kissing After Dark. "For example, the other day I just found out that Limp Bizkit signed to Cash Money. So they're signing everybody. Every body's getting a chance."

Weezy also went on to fuel rumors of Ashanti signing to the label. While acknowledging that it was not a sure thing, Wayne shared that Ashanti may be the next artist on the Cash Money roster.

DMX Does Not Like Drake, Is Not Impressed By Rick Ross.

DMX says Jay-Z tried to get rid of him and adds that he doesn't like Drake. He also shares that he is not impressed by Rick Ross.

In a recent interview, DMX was candid about his feelings towards several emcees. The New York rapper shared that he feels Jay-Z tried to "eliminate the competition" during his time as Def Jam President. He also explained that he does not like Drake or "anything about Drake" and that he is not impressed by Rick Ross.

When speaking about Jay-Z, X said that he feels he wasn't treated fairly by Def Jam when Jigga was the head of the label.

"I see what's really good. You trying to eliminate the competition. At first you retire, then get me off the label and now you're back rapping again," he added as a guest on The Breakfast Club. "That was just some bullshit. You know what it is. That was getting rid of the competition."

Later, he was open about his feelings towards Rick Ross. X shared that he is not impressed and added that he feels Ross' subject matter is not diverse.

"I'm just not impressed," he said when a radio personality inquired about Rick Ross' lyrical skills. "He's aight, man. He talks about eating and girlfriends too much. How much can a nigga eat? How much weed can you smoke? Let's talk about something else...I see a whole 'nother side of the coin, son."

He was then asked if he liked Drake, to which he replied with a simple, "No." He then went further by saying he doesn't like anything about the Young Money emcee.

An emcee he was complimentary towards was J. Cole, saying "J. Cole is nice." X also confirmed that he's on a new reality show with his ex-wife. He then added that he still drinks and smokes but says that he's not doing "hard" drugs. DMX also shared that he does not know how to use a computer and that he's not a fan of Twitter.

G.O.O.D. Music's Cyhi The Prynce appears to have taken note of today's buzz surrounding Cash Money/Young Money inking rap-metal crew Limp Bizkit by questioning their quality of work compared to his team's.

Taking to Twitter, Cyhi compared the Birdman and Lil Wayne-led YMCMB to G.O.O.D. Music and Roc-A-Fella.

A photograph apparently showing Whitney Houston in an open coffin has been published on the cover of the National Enquirer.

The chilling picture shows the singer lying dead in her golden casket, clad in a regal purple dress and wearing what looks like a diamond brooch and earrings.

The weekly American magazine has run the snap alongside a bold headline proclaiming: 'Whitney: The last photo!'

It is understood the photograph was taken inside the Whigham Funeral Home in Newark, New Jersey, where her family attended a private wake last Friday on the eve of her funeral.

The magazine claims the photo was taken at the private viewing - although does not reveal who took the picture.

Carolyn Whigham, the owner of the Whigham Funeral Home, told MailOnline when asked for a comment: 'I have spoken with the family about this and they have asked me not to comment on the matter.'

Whitney - who died aged 48 on February 11 - was wearing jewels worth $500,000 and had gold slippers on her feet, according to the publication.

The image - which was published in today's edition - has stirred a strong reaction on Twitter, with people expressing their shock.

'#wrong #rip,' wrote one Twitter user named as The Bitter Critter.

Another user of the social networking site, Eric S Pittman, simply exclaimed 'Oh dear' while tweeter Peter Anthony Holder wrote: 'No privacy for Whitney, even in death. As usual, the National Enquirer is a piece of work.'

The singer's funeral took place on Saturday and was attended by stars including Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey and her co-star from The Bodyguard, Kevin Costner.

The star's on-off boyfriend Ray J was also in attendance.

Houston was laid to rest the following day in a burial service attended by close family and friends.

The aftermath of the Grammy Awards really took shape last week. As Adele's 21 sold nearly half a million extra albums than the previous week, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj and Wiz Khalifa all enjoyed spikes in sales. The biggest story however, may have been Lil Wayne's recent solo album, Tha Carter IV, crossing the two million mark.

Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV Reaches Double Platinum In Next Week

Although officially "double platinum" for some time, thanks to global sales and non-Soundscan sales, Lil Wayne officially met the two million milestone with his latest solo effort. 2011's Tha Carter IV features the likes of Nas, Tech N9ne and Andre 3000. Weezy's previous Carter album, 2008's Tha Carter III reached three million units sold on the charts.

Tupac Shakur's Signed Movie Contract Hits eBay.

Fans hoping to own a piece of late rap mogul Tupac Shakur's legacy can put some money where their mouth is as new reports claim the rapper-turned-actor's Juice movie contract is now available for bidding on eBay.

According to reports, the bidding war has started at $6,500.

eBay is the largest online auction site with thousands of items being bought and sold on a daily basis. It's when the rare items goes up for auction, that people begin talking. Recently, the contract for the late Tupac Shakur to appear in the 1992 film Juice popped up on the eBay marketplace. The contract is currently listed for $6,500 as a Buy It Now auction with potential buyers being allowed to submit offers for this one of a kind piece of elusive Tupac memorabilia. This particular contract is special for its connection to Shakur, who was shot and killed back in 1996. Having his signature on the document only adds to the value of the memorabilia. (XXL Mag)

The item has also reportedly been certified as fully authentic.

The contract is brief and includes some interesting facts such as the role of "Q or Bishop" could have gone to Shakur. Omar Epps would go on to play Quincy "Q" Powell and Shakur would infamously play the gun-happy Roland Bishop. Also compensation for Shakur's role would be "$1647.80 per 'studio week' for no less than seven (7) weeks". Nas, Common & Q-Tip Rumored To Be Forming As Super Group The Standard.

The trio of emcees are reportedly joining forces for a project.

Back in 2007, Q-Tip and Common announced that they were forming the super group The Standard, though a full-length project is yet to come to light.

According to NYDN, Nas is reportedly set to join the group, though official plans are yet to be made for the group’s album. When asked if he plans to record with Q-Tip and Common, Nas responded, “Definitely,” fueling speculation that the duo could become a trio.

Q-Tip is also at work on his third official solo album, the follow up to 2008’s The Renaissance, while Nas is recording his next LP Life is Good.

MTV Crowns Rick Ross As The Hottest MC.

MTV has announced Rick Ross as the number one emcee on its Hottest MCs list.

Ricky Rozay, whose 2011 consisted of the release of his Maybach Music Group compilation Self Made Vol. 1, edged out Drake, who landed at No. 2. Kanye West came in at third, while Nicki Minaj and her Young Money boss Lil Wayne grabbed fourth and fifth place, respectively.

"I just got the news that I was voted the game's Hottest MC, and man, it really means a lot to me, of course, but it's an honor," Ross told MTV. "It's something I've been watching, something I've been a fan of forever. Of course, MTV, they run the game. MMG, we're here. Shout-out to the whole team."

UPDATE: Whitney Houston laid to rest at private NEW JERSEY burial.

Whitney Houston was laid to rest Sunday at a brief private ceremony in New Jersey, the end of a weekend that saw the pop star's family and friends gather at a star-studded funeral to mourn her loss while celebrating her career.

Fans and onlookers gathered in several places along the route the motorcade took from the Newark funeral home to the cemetery about 20 miles away in Westfield, where Houston was buried next to her father, who died in 2003.

The 48-year-old singer died Feb. 11 in California, hours before she was to attend a pre-Grammy Awards party. No cause of death has been determined.

On Saturday, she was mourned at an invitation-only funeral at the church in Newark where she sang in the choir as a child. She was remembered by the biggest names in the music: Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keys sang, and industry mogul Clive Davis was among those who spoke, as was Kevin Costner, Houston's co-star in "The Bodyguard."

The funeral was closed to fans, who were not allowed within blocks of the church. Still, many came to Newark to take part in what ways they could, some from as far as Miami and Washington, D.C.

Fans gathered again near the funeral home Sunday morning, and some even slowly ran alongside the hearse as it began the journey to Houston's gravesite. Several yelled out "We love you, Whitney" as the hearse, which had a black and white headshot of the star in a window, slowly drove away.

Barbara Davis, 53, of Newark, said she had been waiting outside the funeral home since 8:30 a.m., hoping to get a glimpse of Houston's final trip.

"To be here at her home-going is an honor and a blessing," Davis told The Star-Ledger of Newark.

Also among the crowd was Newark resident Eva Aquino and her two granddaughters, ages 10 and 13. All three stood on a street corner as the hearse passed by, and they used cellphones to snap photos of the procession.

The girls were wearing T-shirts and buttons of Houston that their grandmother had bought from vendors outside the funeral home Saturday.

"We came here and bought all these things of her to cherish the memories," said 13-year-old Nalani Velez of Kearny.

Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown had her grandmother, Cissy Houston, at her side during the 3.5-hour long funeral for her mother, Whitney Houston, held in Newark, NJ Saturday.

But once the services ended and her mother's casket was carried out of the New Hope Baptist Church to "I Will Always Love You," the 18-year-old alarmed her family and friends when she went missing. Meanwhile, it was being speculated that she was using drugs at that time.

"There was some confusion about Bobbi Kristina's whereabouts last night for a short time, but she's OK," a Houston family spokesperson told The Daily Beast on Sunday, adding that drugs were not part of the equation. "She needed some time alone."

No word if Bobbi Kristina (Whitney's only child with her ex-husband Bobby Brown) attended the repast held for Houston's family and friends after the funeral.

On Feb. 11, Bobbi Kristina, who was at the Beverly Hills hotel when her mother's body was found in a bathroom inside her hotel room, was rushed to the hospital following the tragic news.

At Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, the teen was treated for stress while a psychiatric evaluator was brought in to determine if she needed to be placed on a 5150 (an involuntary psychiatric hold).

"Everything [was] stressful," Billy Watson, an extended family member, explained to Us Weekly. "Her mama died, so she broke down. Nobody expected her to pass as quickly as she did. [Bobbi Kristina] had a nervous breakdown."

UPDATE: Bobby Brown Blames Aggressive Security For Early Whitney Houston Funeral Departure.

R&B singer Bobby Brown has come forward to clear the air on drawing concerns over his early departure from his late ex-wife Whitney Houston's publicized funeral Saturday (February 18) afternoon.

Speaking via a statement, Brown said extreme security measures forced his exit.

"My children and I were invited to the funeral of my ex-wife Whitney Houston. We were seated by security and then subsequently asked to move on three separate occasions," he stated. "I fail to understand why security treated my family this way and continue to ask us and no one else to move. Security then prevented me from attempting to see my daughter Bobbi-Kristina. In light of the events, I gave a kiss to the casket of my ex-wife and departed as I refused to create a scene. My children are completely distraught over the events. This was a day to honor Whitney. Brown was seen arriving with several people and had sat down in the front row of a section marked off for family, before being asked to move. Brown had entered the church with other mourners, separate from Houston's family. He appeared emotionally distraught, with red eyes and head hanging as he walked up the aisle of the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey. "Lil' Kim" Graces TIME Magazine Cover.

Brooklyn rap veteran Lil Kim may once again be the subject of some political confusion as TIME Magazine has decided to run with the rapper's moniker for their latest issue.

Despite using the "Lil' Kim" tagline, the actual person featured on the cover is late North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Barack Obama. Adolf Hitler. Mark Zuckerberg. Lil Kim. One of these doesn't fit. There's some unpaid intern at Time magazine right now in disbelief that his gag idea he made in passing to the editor he was grabbing coffee for someone made it on the cover. That person on the cover is none other but Kim Jong Un, the new leader/emperor/duku or whatever of North Korea. But this isn't about him. This cover is just another example that Hip-Hop - as an anti-establishment - is dead. We're so indoctrinated in the mainstream that a once-envelope-pushing Kim who took X-rated lyrics to unforeseen heights is now a tagline on Time Magazine. There was a time when just mentioning Kim would have moms clutching their coin purses. There's probably a review for an Ice Cube family movie about fire safety in the back of this issue, too, to drive home the point. (Smoking Section)

50 Cent Shows Doubt Over Delayed LP, "I May Have To Fall Back".

Fans hoping to get their hands on a new 50 Cent solo album may have to wait a bit longer as the G-Unit leader has expressed disinterest in putting the project out.

Based on a Twitter response to a fan, Fif gave little assurance of the LP being retail-ready in the near future.

This is the first real sign that 50?s fifth, yet untitled album may never arrive in stores anytime soon. In a response to a fan asking "so did you just give up on your new album? I was expecting a classic man", 50 said "I may have to fall back" signalling that the long delayed LP may be shelved, at least for the time being.

Last month, the rap star blamed Interscope Records' lack of interest and energy for delaying its release.

"I wrote this album. I went through the process of writing it. It's been discouraging at points to not see the same efforts from everyone," 50 said when asked about his label frustrations and perceived depression. UPDATE: Nas Promoter Finally Freed After Kidnapping, "This Nightmare Is Over".

The concert promoter who blamed veteran emcee Nas for his kidnapping due to failing to show for a scheduled New Year's Eve show has finally been freed after weeks of captivity.

According to reports, promoter Patrick Allocco has been released after 49 days.

A rep for Patrick Allocco tells us, "An order was entered today by Angolan authorities lifting the travel ban which prevented [Patrick] and his son from leaving the country for 49 days after [Nas] failed to show for a New Year's Eve concert." According to the rep, Patrick and his son, Patrick, were immediately escorted by U.S. Embassy Officials on a flight to Lisbon. The two men are expected to arrive in Newark, NJ Saturday afternoon. Patrick's rep adds, "We are relieved that this nightmare is over and are looking forward to coming home to our family and friends who have supported us with their prayers and optimism during this ordeal." Patrick Allocco, CEO of AllGood Concerts, said in an interview Sunday that he and his son, also named Patrick, are in a hotel in the Luanda capital, but cannot leave the country because of an investigation into the concert. Allocco arranged to have Nas perform a New Year's concert in Angola, but the rapper never showed. That infuriated local promoter, Henrique "Riquhino" Miguel, who fronted $300,000 for the show, Allocco said. Miguel is insisting Nas return the $300,000 plus $50,000 in expenses before the Alloccos can leave. The Alloccos, ages 51 and 22, are in good spirits but battling dysentery. They have access to a cell phone and have contacted the U.S. Embassy. "When I told the local promoter that the acts had not traveled, he became extremely angry," Allocco said. Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder will sing at the private funeral Saturday of Whitney Houston in what promises to be a very musical service.

Publicist Kristen Foster also confirms that invitations went out to Houston's ex-husband, Bobby Brown; her co-star in "The Bodyguard," Kevin Costner; and Oprah Winfrey.

Houston's longtime musical mentor, Clive Davis, will speak at the funeral. The eulogy will be given by gospel singer and longtime family friend Marvin Winans.

The Queen of Soul was a close family friend and considered Houston her goddaughter; she said in an email Thursday that Houston used to call her "Aunt Ree."

Organizers were getting the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark ready Thursday for the funeral. Drums and speakers, which were to be part of the musical service, were in the aisles.

Fans without invitations will be kept far away. Newark police say streets will be shut down for six square blocks around the church.

But on Thursday, there were several dozen fans outside, contributing to and taking pictures of the makeshift memorial to the superstar outside the church. Media were also outside of the venue.

Houston died Saturday in Beverly Hills, Calif., at the age of 48.

Rumours have been circulating for 30 years that the singer had had a secret relationship with her ex-assistant, but her friends have now publicly spoken about her sexuality following her death.

Gay rights activist Peter Tatchell even said her marriage to Bobby Brown was a smokescreen.

Just hours after her death, she wrote a Valentine’s Day-themed tribute to Whitney hours after she died, which was published in a U.S. magazine.

It said: 'I first met Whitney when I was 16 and knew right away she was special.

'Whitney was modelling and had peachy-coloured skin and didn’t look like anyone I’d ever met in New Jersey.

'I can’t believe that I’m never going to hug her or hear her laughter again.'

The claims have also been backed up by Whitney's sister-in-law and her ex-bodyguard Kevin Ammons.

Even her former husband Bobby has hinted their marriage was a cover-up for her desire for women.

Bobby's sister Tina Brown said: 'I saw her with a woman a couple of times.'

And Bobby, 43, wrote in his biography that the marriage was was 'doomed from the very beginning. I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married.

'I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children. The media was accusing her of having a bisexual relationship with her assistant, Robin [sic] Crawford. Since she was the American Sweetheart and all, that didn’t go too well with her image.

'In Whitney’s situation, the only solution was to get married and have kids. That would kill all speculation, whether it was true or not.'

Her bodyguard wrote in his book about the star that Robyn slapped Whitney when she saw her flirting with men and was furious when she vowed to marry Brown.

And he claimed Whitney paid off ex-publicist Regina Brown to keep quiet about her affair with Robyn.

The 48-year-old was found in a bath at the Beverly Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills, California. She had taken a cocktail of drugs and booze.

She is to be buried at midday on Saturday in New Jersey’s New Hope Baptist Church.

The Thursday before she died she apparently performed Yes Jesus Loves Me at Tru nightclub in Hollywood and told one of her friends, 'I'm gonna go see Jesus ... I want to see Jesus.'

The next morning, hours before her death, she discussed a bible passage involving John the Baptist and Jesus when she flashed a big smile and said: 'You know, he's so cool ... I really want to see that Jesus.'

Another source told the website ahe had been telling friends she 'felt like her time was coming'.

UPDATE: The BATH TUB where Whitney Died From...

The tragic scene in which Whitney Houston reportedly spent her last moments have been disclosed in a revealing photograph.

The picture shows the bath tub where the legend was found dead still almost full of water with a towel sitting at the bottom.

Whitney used olive oil to keep her skin soft and a silver gravy boat full of the solution can be seen floating next to the plug hole.

Recent reports suggest that the hotel room is already reoccupied and was back in rotation just three days after the singer was found underwater and unconscious.

According to TMZ, room 434 at the Beverly Hilton hotel has been requested by people who are desperate to use the room.

The now infamous room is fully booked for the 'foreseeable future'.

Although the I Will Always Love You singer was declared dead last weekend, the Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party still went ahead in the same hotel.

Houston was due to perform at the bash and while many celebrities including Britney Spears were in attendance, Sharon Osbourne opted not to go out of respect for the fallen star.

She said: 'I do not know how people could have gone to the party knowing that Whitney was still in that building dead. And just the sorrow, I just couldn't.

'There was no way I could go drink and eat and be social. For me, it wasn't right.'

The body of the singer, 48, was found surrounded by different bottles of prescription pills including ibuprofen - a painkiller, Xanax - an anti-anxiety drug, Midol - for menstrual cramps, amoxicillin - for bacterial infections and several others.

County coroners will request copies of her medical records and will compare them with prescription bottles found in the hotel room, a source told The Sun.

If anyone gave Houston the drugs illegally, they could be charged. '[Authorities] need to determine that no one is criminally negligent. There still could be charges in this case,' the source said.

According to RadarOnline.com her manager, Clive Davis angered family members when he announced that he would be going ahead with his party at the hotel.

The website claim that a source said: 'The mood in the suite was just that of pure shock. Bobbi Kristina was absolutely inconsolable, she was rocking back and forth on the couch, crying hysterically.'

They added: 'Clive was already dressed in his tux and most of Whitney's family was already dressed for the party. There wasn't any mention of the party proceeding or being canceled by Clive. He told Whitney's family that they could stay in his suite as long as they needed to, and then after about 45 minutes with them, he left.'

Clive's spokesperson released a statement to the website denouncing the claims and said: 'This story is categorically false. This supposed in-person meeting never took place and Mr. Davis never left the main floor of the hotel.'

According to reports, the hotel asked the coroner to leave Whitney's body in her hotel room out of respect for A-list guests and for security issues.

Whitney Houston's ex-husband has been told he is 'not welcome' at her funeral by several members of the singer's family.

The close family member, who have not been identified, warned Whitney's ex-husband not to even try to attend as the Houston clan is 'not fond of him'.

During Houston and Bobby's 14-year marriage they repeatedly came to blows in private and public, with her husband being rumoured to have introduced her to illegal drugs.

He also published an autobiography where he hinted at doubts over his wife's sexuality, but in the days after he death has been pictured devastated by Whitney's death.

Sources close to Brown told TMZ people connected to the Houston family have warned Bobby that he shouldn't attempt to attend the funeral because the family isn't fond of him.

At first it was thought that a public memorial service would take place at Newark's Prudential Centre - which seats up to 19,000 people - but the family announced today that they are keeping it to themselves. There will be no public wake either.

The funeral will take place on Saturday at noon in the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark, where the pop icon first showcased her singing talents as a child.
