Bebe Cool Bows To Pressure, Roofs House With Iron Sheets.

With the ever rising cost of building materials, Bebe Cool has bowed to pressure and used ordinary iron sheets.  Bebe Cool who had earlier aimed at using Decra roofing tiles resorted to iron sheets as a last resort to cut down on costs.

However Bebe Cool did not hide his happiness when he bragged that he took 'snailish' steps but has finally reached his goals.

Citing the Luganda proverb, Bebe Cool said, "Akwata Empola’Atuuka Waala."

Observers and friends say that Big Size could not allow suffering the humiliation of Goodlyfe finishing their house before him. Well, whether iron sheets or roofing tiles, we are glad the house is almost done. Thanks for attending Bebe Cool’s concerts. (Bigeye.ug)

Katogo End of Year Purple Party held with Pomp and Colour.

For an event that is happening for the very first time, there is always excitement, impatience and fear.

And for the Purple Party, the bar had been even set to high and any failure would leave a brand built over years on the wire.

But, the first ever end of year Purple Party hosted by Douglas Lwanga of Katogo TV show on Record Television went in to the records as the first most successful party of its kind.

It was all pomp and colour as music stakeholders turned up in large numbers to be part of the end of year Purple Party. The Purple Party was tremendously successful and set the standard at which other related events will be held.

Even though, there are no headcount figures on how many people were at Bull Dog Wandegeya were the event was held, by midnight, the venue was filled to capacity and entries were highly restricted.

In attendance were about 200 musicians, about 50 media personals, several event organizers such as Balaam, and Renal Ibra of High School Kadanke. This was in additional to hundreds of revelers that graced the show.

Among the musicians in the house included City Rock Entertainment, Woods, Maro, Gift, Ziza Bafana, Desire Luzinda, Moses Radio and Weasel, Jasima Ba, Tha Icon, Big Eye and his Big Music crew, Eddy Kenzo and Big Talent crew, Aziz Azion, Hilderman, Henry Tigan, Shamim of Maisha dancers, Coopy Bly, Ray, Larry, AK47, Papa Cidy, Young Mulo, Gravity Omutujju, OS, Phantom Lovins, Margla, Dan Flevor, ID-Twins, Isaac Morgan, Vampino, Viboyo, Rema and Bebe Cool among others.

The MCs of the night included Afande Kerekere, Omulangira Ndausi and MC Kats.

The event started off at a few minutes past 10:00pm with a great performance from City Rock Entertainment. This was followed by several musicians one after the other.

Bebe Cool, Rema Young Mulo, Eddy Kenzo, Larry and Coopy Bly were at their best as they excited their fans.

Bebe Cool particularly performed songs such as Cease and Sekkle, Big Size, Ndiisa Buuti, Ntuyo Zange and Kamwako.

Young Mulo did Tebakusobola, Love Me and also sampled his new song that has equal potentials to become a hit if well promoted.

Vampino, Viboyo, Big Eye, Hilderman, Aziz Azion and AK47 also had a good night on stage. Performances ended at a few minutes to 3:00am.

Tha Icon, Radio and Weasel and many others never performed even though they were at the venue.

By 4:00am, Club Bull Dog was still filled as party lovers continued to enjoy the DJ mixes.

And for an event that was organized for the very first time, the Purple Party was extremely successful.(Hipipo.com)

Tondeka Ekiwatule Knocks Out Busabalaaaa In Boxing Day Battle

Bobi Wine may for once have to agree that Bebe Cool had more fans at his Kiwatule concerts dubbed Tondeka Ekiwatule. By 4pm, people had already arrived in big numbers at Kiwatule and larger numbers of revelers were seen arriving.

Save for the people of Kiwatule, Najeera 1&2, Naalya, Kyaliwajalla and beyond who scampered for their lives from the noise at the show, those at Kiwatule Recreation centre were having a recreation musically. Truth be told, it was a sold out concert and by the time BigEye.ug left, one had to struggle to find their way through the thousands of people who lined up for one of the biggest annual events.

Back to Busabalaaaaaa, yes the prolonged version, Bobi Wine , they were the normal Rastafarian congregation. Since people have had tales of bag snatching more than at any place, the class of people that poured it at Busabala was different.

At Busabala, red-eyed men, ganja-smoking groups of youth and gangstar wannabes were seen all over. Though it was a good attendance, it was in no way comparable to Kiwatule and the battle lines that had been drawn had to be erased since the battle had been won by Team Gagamel.
For Team Firebase, till the next time, all the best.(Bigeye.ug)

Ndisa Buuti Video Dancers Were Not Paid.

It's nearly eight months now without any pay for the work done by the dancing team that was behind Bebe Cool's "Ndisa Buti" video shoot.

The dancers who featured in the "Ndisa Buti" video have not only been denied their dues, they have also suffered injuries and serious blows in the course of demanding for their payment.

One of the dancers, who preferred anonymity, disclosed this information during a call made to one of the BigEyeUG writer.

Talking on phone, one of the dancers explained her side of the story as her voice occasionally broke into painful emotions.

She explains, "After the video shoot of "Ndisa Buti," we didn't get our work pay, but he(Bebe Cool) promised to pay us within the agreed time. After sometime, we started calling his phone because we realized he was taking long to communicate. Every time we would call, he would tell us to remind him so that he can pay our dues."
She adds, "He then reached a stage of not picking our calls and bad enough, sometimes he would switch off his phone off completely."

Now here is the real story, "As we were coming from having fun late at night at around 3am(Friday nite), we decided to refuel our car at City Oil Petrol station on Kayunga Rd just after Kisementi. Luckily enough, as we parked, we saw Bebe Cool and his entourage coming from the supermarket and I decided to call him. When he looked back, he recognized us and came to our car as his mugged bouncers followed him." She adds "He started throwing punches to us as his bouncers looked on. For fear of being thumbed by his entourage, we drove off quickly as we headed straight to the police station. Bebe Cool and his crew followed us in their van. As we approached the police station, they turned and drove off different route."

Well, the above story was narrated by the hurt dancer who felt that the press should know it. Bebe Cool, the ball is in your hands to come up with your side of the story.(Bigeye.ug)

After a prolonged Cyber war over the weekend, Dr. Jose C finally declared a cease fire on Monday morning and urged his fans to get back to work. But instead of Bebe Kool also declaring Peace, he fired back again which tempted fans to abuse Bebe kool to pulp.

Follow dis link to find out how it all started: Jose. C stings Bebe Kool in Fresh Cyber Attack.

First, here's how Bebe reacted to Jose. C's ealier post of a Balck Board:

NEIGHBOUR A, WHEN WE WERE IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THESE ARE THE LESSONS WE LEARNT:

1- CIGARETTE SMOKING IS HARMFUL TO YOUR HEALTH AND LEADS TO DESPERACY AND DEATH.
2- DRUG ADDICTION CAN LEAD TO BRAIN DAMAGE, SLEEP-WALKING AND DEATH.
3- NOT BATHING ALWAYS LEADS TO ITCHY SKIN HENCE CONSTANT SCRATCHING OF BALLS IN PUBLIC AND MULTIPLE SCARS ON YOUR BODY.

NOTE:PRIMARY FOUR LEAVERS CANNOT WRITE ON A BLACKBOARD

Here's what Jose C posted on his Facebook page dis morning:

CEASE FIRE,

FANS AND LEONE ISLAND FAMILY, IT WAS A REASONING SUNDAY,

NO HATRED!

Have a peaceful week.

"TUGENDE TUKOLE"

And check how Bebe Kool reacted with his Post:

LEGO CYBER WARFARE. ENO SIYAKUKASUKA MACUPA NAYE KUNYIGA MAPESA.
GAGAMEL FOREVER.
WE NUH RETREAT, WE NUH SURRENDER.
CEASE FIRE????? KU DILU KI?

One fan commented on Bebe kool's Post:

Kalungi Kalis Isaac: Bebe if d man has acceptd 2 cease fire i dont see d reason y u keep it contnuing. We lov u bt we need clean music. Never argue wit a f**l coz u'll considered a f**l too. Rmber tekaba kamwako koka but also nengalo ezitypinga zitulaga kyoli.
All i can say is that these are stupid Kiddish Fights. Both of them are behaving like Nursery Kids. Will keep you  posted in case any update.

UPDATE: Dr. Jose C stings Bebe Kool in Fresh Verbal Attack.

The people who used to be Friends are now Bitter Enemies. Right now, the Beef between Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool is no longer News. But the Rift between Dr. Jose C and Bebe Kool is growing bigger day by day.

It all started when Bebe Kool held his KAMWAKO Launch on 2nd, 3rd and 4th Nov... Then on Monday 5th Nov, Dr. Jose C posted on his Facebook page that:

I FEEL LIKE LAUGHING FOR A WHOLE WEEK!!

BUT MY CHEEKS R PAINING. I HAVE STOPPED. Have a nice week
LEONE ISLAND FAMILY. LEONE ISLAND FOREVER.

Bebe Kool played it cool waiting for Chameleone's GYENVUDDE Concert on 9th Nov at OBLIGATO, the same day as Sean Paul's Live in Kampala Concert.

On Saturday, 10th Nov, Bebe Kool posted on his Facebook Page reacting to Dr. Jose C:

Hahahahahahahahahahahah,A SMALL BAR LIKE OBLIGATO,aha KRIS EVANS MUNENE.NEIBA A WAS HUMBLED TO 120 PIPO.ODANGAMU NO YASAMA ATE GAKYALI MABAGA.

Now, this didn't go down well with Dr. Jose C who reacted with a very Harsh Tone based on his post today, Sunday 11th Nov:

I AM FORCED TO BUY A BLACK BOARD TO TEACH MY NEIGHBOUR IN KIWATULE A FEW IMPORTANT WAYS TO BE WISER AS TIME IS RUNNING OUT ON THEM.

LESSONS:

1: FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
2: WHEN TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH
3:CONSTRUCTIVE MUSIC
4:DEBT MANAGEMENT
5: and lastly KYADONDO Is toooooooo BIG FOR YOU.

Try CAPITAL PUB.

If at 45 YEARS YOU ARE STILL FUMBLING THEN YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE..

LEONE ISLAND TUGENDE TUKOLE!!!!!!!!

Whatever is going on between these two, only God knows. But i think Jose C doesn't want to admit that another artiste can also fill up Kyadondo grounds on a concert night.

Will keep you posted incase of any update.

KENZO Sets Masaka Ablaze Alongside GAGAMEL's Remah.

EDDY KENZO last night set Masaka Ablaze Alongside GAGAMEL's beautiful Remah. By 2:00am, every fan stepped out of MARIA FLO HOTEL highly contended and getting value for money.

Forget the concert flops of the International artistes that are coming to Uganda right now. This was a record breaking concert with the largest crowd in the southern region.

It all started in a somber mood after Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool playing badly in the Premier League as fans delayed to turn up.

Time Check, 8:00pm and fans are still settling in but the V.I.P Section is already filled to capacity. Only 3 up-coming artistes performed and after 30min, Maria Flo Hotel Gardens were already full and even the parking lot was filled with Fans.

At exactly 8:30pm, The HARES Band of David Lutalo took up the stage playing various songs from Country Music to Zouk, SouthAfrican Music, and Congolese...etc.

Matthias Walukaga then took over the stage with a Mind blowing performance of only 3 songs: Tomala Gasoma, Bambega and finally blowing up the crowd with his National Anthem ’ ’BAKOWU’. ..

As dwellers were preparing to take a breath, BIG MUZIK lightened up the stage again with Shokess opening up followed by Big Chief and then Professor. Bigg Eye nailed it performing all his songs but Going Higher was his best of the Night.

But many people wondered why Professor. Bigg Eye’s still performing Mango Juice yet the song belongs to Jazema Ba.

David Lutalo then stepped on stage with all his songs and based on the Fans response, he was the Best Performer on the Nite.

Now the Long Awaited BIG TALENT Crew had to deliver and it was Gravity Omutujju to kick-start the Show. But again, that’s when STRAKA caused Fracas when she conquered the Emceeing Job to introduce her Boyfriend ’ Gravity and she was booed off Stage instantly. He performed only 2 songs: Swagazilla & Walumbe Zaaya.

That's when the Homeboy Idrisa Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo, born and raised in Senyange stepped on stage amidst the Loudest Screams I’ve ever witnessed from Fans. Just like always, whenever he’s performing in Masaka, you always see that Joy in him seeing Thousands of home fans screaming.

In the middle of his performance, he stopped abruptly and sprung a surprise Artiste’ And that was Remah - the best vocalist from GAGAMEL Ent Crew who sang "Oli Wange plus Seaze & Sickle". It was mind blowing because this was the second time for Remah to perform in Masaka after Bebe Kool introduced her to the fans last year in the same venue.

All in all, it was the Concert of the Year in Masaka with TURBO RAYS providing the Marvelous Sound and Lights’, all performances were done Live, all Artistes delivered to the expectations and the Emcees did a Great Job ’ Mbazira Tony & Suuna Ben of 98.8 & 95.5 Fm Radio Buddu.

GAGAMEL Proves its the Best Crew in UG.

Gagamel Entertainment on Saturday showcased its music abilities as it launched the Gagamel Phamily nite at the Lumumba Avenue based Steak Out.

At an event that was mainly attended by Gagamel Entertainment diehard fans, the crew showed that it is not a one man crew but one with several musicians. Between 8 and 9:30 pm, a huge list of artists performed one after the other many of whom were new to even the Gagamel fans.

These were followed by Gagamel crew lead names led by Gagamel Founder and CEO Bebe Cool, new Gagamel Crew manager also musician Tickitah, Tuff B, Rema, Edith K, Gaga Bounty, Shortkut and Denzo. Kidfox also appeared and performed for the Gagamel fans. During his performance, Bebe Cool was backed by a live band.

At the launch of this monthly night, Bebe Cool urged Gagamel fans to stay together and continue supporting Gagamel Phamily night even during times when he is out of the country.

Remah - The Reason why Bebe fired Emma as his Manager.

TICKITAH HAS BEEN APPOINTED MA NEW MANAGER AND MANAGER FOR GAGAMEL WHILE EMMA SERUGO HAS BEEN RELIEVED OF HIS DUTIES.THIS COMES AFTER EMMA WAS SEEN ON KADINGOZ TV SHOW WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND ITS BY NATURE GAGAMEL HAS NO BIZNIZ WHAT SO EVER WITH THE KADINGO FARMILY.GAGAMEL FORWARD.

This is what bebe cool posted on his wall after throwing out former Phyna Mugerwa Masanyalaze’s manager and hubby Emma Serugo.

The biff between Emma and many gagamel die hards has been on the high and many close gagamel fans believe it's the reason Bebecool fell out with Ndausi a year ago.

But this was a foundation to the eventual fall out.Bebe cool flew out early this month for shows in Canada. He left Emma in charge with strict rules of being informed before every move that is going to be taken by Emma on behalf of Gagamel.

Well info indicates that Emma appeared on Omubanda WA kabaka reality TV show where Bobi dissed Bebe so much but that was not what angered Bebe Kool. When Bebe cool came back on Friday morning, he found Rehma was in studio doing songs written by Nince henry on the orders of Emma without the approval of Bebe cool.

He further found out Rema had hit the road and was doing shows like Iryn and Juliana without the knowledge of Bebe. What angered him was that he had a work plan on how to make Rema a very big artiste and Emma wasn’t following it. Bebe felt Emma was after Rehma for the money hence firing him.

Is It Show Biz or Its just a Show Off..!! The Spending Habits of Big Stars.

I borrow dis Article from a Ugandan Ent. Website "Hipipo".

We have come to that stage where some fans respect musicians for how much financial muscle they’ve been able to exhibit. How much a musician can spend on cars, houses, investments, a wedding and trips abroad; greatly determines how much respect they earn from fans!

This has given birth to a debate that I’ve for some time now, observed from the side lines; the debate about the spending routine of Ugandan musicians. This is a debate that has torn Ugandan music fans into two major camps, each taking different sides of the debate.

The first camp comprises of people who believe that our stars suffer from rural urban migration. This camp argues that some stars buy expensive monster rides which they can’t afford to fuel and rarely drive them. That these are rides they just put in their music videos and press photo shoots; but actually drive the less fuel consuming ones.

But then also comes a camp which believes that just like the name suggests, show biz is about showing off. That how much you can spend makes you a bigger star. They argue that this is the trend world over, where stars must have the most expensive of things. They add that if you can’t afford expensive things as a star, then you are a good for nothing star.

This phenomenon has even taken center stage in the beef between certain musicians. We have heard musicians assuring their nemeses how they own no house and have not thrown a mega wedding. While others reaffirm that they are not in a hurry to make such hefty ventures!

Well, whether or not the debate is healthy, is not for me to decide. I throw this back to you.

Do you think a musicians spending power should be a major yard stick in measuring their success?!

Have your say!

Bebe Cool Attacks Hipipo over Mis-Information about Short Kut and Denzo.

Bebe Cool has once again poured scorn on the media but this time it is not Print media (New Vision and Bukedde), this time it is a certain website called Hipipo. Bebe Cool used his wall to make his voice heard. During a review of the “Big Mouth By Far” video- ShortKut and Denzo, the duo were blamed for borrowing Bebe Cool’s clothes for the music video. In particular it is Denzo who is Bebe Cool’s cousin that was pointed out for the mishap.

The Big Mouth by Far video was shot by Henex, Bebe cool in anger tones described the writer of the article as a foo. Here's what he posted on his Facebook Wall.

“Big up to ma boyz shortkut and denzo, nice video by Henex, some fool commented about the clothes that denzo put on saying that he borrowed them from me, and that their swagg is on my ride, now guys whoever told this donkey that they make one fashion for one person? check what you are puttin on and walk along kampala road; see if u alone and then why not my boyz swagg with ma ride, and goes ahead to defend kadingo that cars new or old ,they get mechanical broblems, hey rich pipoz cars dont break down on the road daily.i did not hear this person telling uganda the truth about kadingos wedding sutiiii, the same for kigali show, the battle ,and five more concerts,on top of it not changing the 9 hours of the battle,hipipo.com,be objective dont hate.u r press not the judgez.let the public decide.gagamel for eveeeeeeeer!!!!”

Bebe Cool apparently blames Hipipo for being bribed by Bobi Wine to cause his downfall which won’t happen. “The Gagamel motto is that Failure is Not an option.” Bebe cool also points out that Bobi Wine’s suit was a second hand which was borrowed from one of the Kwagalanna member’s son. He also hints that Bobi Wine is a total pretender who gives the public an impression that he is rich and happily married which is a lie. “First of all, Bobi Wine and Barbie are separated at heart though married for publicity, he drives old cars,” ranted Bebe Cool.

Bebe Cool to show Bobi Wine’s Malfunctioned Escalade On His Upcoming Video

Just a few days after landing into the country from China where he had gone for performances, Bobi Wine released his “By Far” video in which a manequin of Bebe Cool was shown. At some point in the video, Bebe Cool fails to use chopsticks and resorts to using his hands. At another point in the video, it is shown that when Bobi Wine scares Bebe Cool slightly, he
runs dearly for his life.

However, Bebe Cool who was shooting a video in Kamwokya got a laugh of a lifetime when Bobi Wine’s Escalade tires malfunctioned sending them up in the air. Bebe Cool immediately rushed with his cameras and recorded the whole incident and he is rumoured to be working on a song that decries Bobi Wine’s hypocrisy and lies.

Bobi Wine on realizing that all this had happened immediately began using obscene words and asserted that some members in his camp are conspiring with Bebe Cool to bring him down and possibly take his life. Bobi Wine also spent the whole Thursday night pleading with Bebe Cool not to release the video and that the two can make up and become good friends.

However, Bebe Cool seems to be a man of his word and he says it is time for revenge considering that Bobi wine is rumoured to always work with Bukedde Paparazzi to blackmail him. It seems the battle of champion is a series and we are now looking to this new season.

UPDATE: BEBE KOOL wins Battle Of Champions.

Majority of music fans believe that Big Size Bebe Cool was the overall winner of the Battle of the Champion at Kyadondo grounds as he sang more songs, was better dressed, more swaggerific, entertaining and put up a more energetic performance from the start to the end compared to Ghetto Gladiator Bobi Wine.

On the other hand, a greater part of the same fans also concluded that while Bebe performed well in the above areas, Bobi Wine was more interactive, involving and talkative throughout the night.

According to a latest post-Battle of the Champion public poll/survey conducted online via www.hipipo.com from Saturday 9:00am to Sunday 12:00 pm, music fans acknowledged that the Battle of the Champion went on smoothly with both musicians giving their best to a passionate audience that filled Kyadondo to capacity. Basing on what transpired at Kyadondo, they gave their final verdict. This online public survey had 2868 participants.

  • In the category of who sang more songs, Bebe Cool bagged 2466 votes compared to Bobi Wine’s 402 votes while under the category of best dressed; Bebe had 1979 votes compared to Bobi’s 889.
  • When fans were asked for who was most swaggerific for the battle, Bebe Cool received 1893 votes and Bobi Wine took 975 votes.
  • In the category of most interactive musician, Bobi Wine won taking 2036 votes compared to Bebe Cool’s 832 votes. Check graph below for how each musician rated in the entire poll.

UPDATE: BEBE and BOBI settle Music Disputes as BATTLE OF CHAMPIONS ends Prematurely.

It is 3:00 am and the show is still on. Bobi Wine is on stage but the Police want the show to stop, an instruction that Bobi Wine and his camp defy and continue to perform.

After a few minutes, Bebe Cool steps on his stage in high gear with the Kasepiki hit. At this time, fans run riot as Big Size starts off in style. But before the fans can get the real feel, Bebe Cool stops. He tells his fans that he will unfortunately not continue as the Police demands that the show as gone past time and should stop there.

“As you Gagamel fans are known for discipline. I still had twenty songs to perform but Police wants us to stop. Let us be obedient to the law and stop here. It is unfortunate that we have stopped at a time when we were just starting.”

Disappointed, a simple majority of the audience in Kyadondo (Gagamel fans) starts to walk out as their crew prepares to return its base. Bebe Cool’s great musical night ends on a low.

On the other side of the stage, Bobi Wine defies Police orders and insists to continue with his show as he has just started.

“The show has just started and we will go on. Police told us that we can sing till we get tired. So why stop now yet I still have very many songs to perform. My fans, I am not stopping. Let us enjoy our day. We have retained our championship.”

Silk Events should just be fair. Let the sound system be at its maximum. If my brother Bebe Cool has decided to end his show, he has accepted defeat. As for me, I am still going on.”

Bobi Wine continues to perform for another thirty minutes. As Police tries to stop the show, Bobi Wine tells it off insisting that his Ghetto fans have to have the value of their money.

“Let the people enjoy the music. It will take you more than four hours to end a fight started do to discontent. Don’t provoke the people. My Ghetto People are here and will protect me till the end. I do not need your security Police. Get Off my stage.”

After performing another 8 songs including Kataala, Matyansi, and Kagoma, he crowns his performance with Nyimbira Kabaka as it clocks to 3:30 am.

What a day? What a show? What a night?

At the end, each camp walked away winners as fans from each group said their camp had done better.

However, as you look out for the ultimate winner, here are a few hints to consider.
  • Bebe Cool performed close to 60 songs during his time on stage while Bobi Wine sang about 20 songs.
  • Whereas Bebe Cool performed an average of 4 songs each fifteen minutes session, Bobi Wine performed an average 1.5 songs per session and used the rest of the time to talk.
  • While Bebe Cool largely stuck on doing music, Bobi Wine used much of his time to diss and attack Bebe Cool on several issues that included wealth, marriage, failure to complete house and allegedly bad character. Bebe Cool also got off some minutes and attacked Bobi Wine and his ‘life filled with lies.’
  • Even though both camps had a great audience, Bebe Cool’s audience was better in both numbers and activeness. They supported when Bebe Cool was on stage and also pressured Bobi Wine with words such as Get off stage, Bore, and Sing do not talk among others. It was as if they had planned their re-actions.
Pastor Wilson Bugembe was the only guest performer. He fast performed on Bebe Cool’s stage singing two songs; Nangirira and Bamuyita Yesu. He later went to Bobi Wine’s stage and did their collabo Ojanga Nosaba and signed off with Kiriba Kitya.

Eddie Yawe, Bobi Wine’s elder brother also appeared on both stages and preached peace and health competition in music. Buchaman also appeared backing Bebe Cool and thanking him for having a good and friendly heart.

In between, Bebe Cool brought on stage members of Katalamwe School of the disabled and fundraised money to help them live a better life.

It was great night with a great show as both Bobi and Bebe proved their music weight.

UPDATE: Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool Meet at a Press Conference.

Known for the biggest beef in the Ugandan music industry, today at about 11:30 AM, the two music lions Big Size Bebe Cool from Gagamel Entertainment and H.E Bobi Wine from Fire Base crew met at an official press conference. It was organized to inform the general public about how far the two singers are prepared for the Friday Battle of Champions.

In a tense environment, Bobi Wine entered Kyadondo Rugby ground last but took a seat on the high table first along with Firebase Vice President Nubian Li. He started by doing his comical talks and wondering whether Bebe Cool had feared coming to sit on the same table with him. After about 3 minutes, Bebe Cool also took his seat, escorted with members from Gagamel.

It was from the questions that most of the discussion at the conference was geared, with Bebe Cool assuring Bobi Wine that at the battle, Bobi Wine will not do anything more than 25 boring songs since he has no good music.

Bobi Wine in response re-affirmed a statement he had earlier made on UBC TV Celeb shed program, that he will defile Bebe Cool musically come Friday 4th at the Battle of Champions.

“Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine battle of champions is organized by KT promotions. The two main artists are already paid and fans should be rest assured of a great and amazing show.” Said a representative from KT promotions.

Uganda Police representative at the press conference assured the public that more than 500 policemen, 100 military forces and a good number of police dogs will be deployed at the venue to ensure maximum security. No glass bottle drinks will be allowed in the venue.

It is confirmed that Bebe Cool will be performing first. The agreement was reached following a coin toss that landed in favor of his choice.

Mikie Wine and Little M attack Bebe Cool in Majambebe.

As we reported earlier, Mikie Wine had stormed studio to record a song responding to the several attacks on his brother Bobi Wine.

Recorded from Sound Makers studio, the new song has been officially released today. Titled Majambebe, this song is a duet sang by Bobi Wine’s younger brother Mikie Wine and Little M; both members of Sulubada high school; a subsidiary group within Firebase Crew.

In the new song, both Mikie Wine and Little M continue the verbal battles between Bebe Cool and his Gagamel crew versus Bobi Wine and his Firebase crew. From the title Majambebe to allegations such as turning a hummer car into a lodge, wearing women jeans, failing to complete house construction, plus use of words such as Cease & Sickle and Minzani, this not so popular Sulubada crew duo unleash their lyrical wrath on the Gagamel founder and president.

The release of this song makes a total of four songs released in a period of one month with only attacks and counter attacks.

When Bebe Cool released Film Star, it did not go down well with Bobi Wine who retaliated with a self praise By Far single. Two days after By Far was released, Shortkut and Denzo; both from Gagamel crew acted fast and released Big Mouth By Far to pull By Far off the charts. Before, Big Mouth By Far can get the perfect circulation, Firebase crew has responded already as Mikie and Little M have released Majambebe.

Which is the better song?

How longer can these songs have media play?

What effect do these songs have on the booming music industry?

Lastly, are musicians short of ideas or they are just doing business?
