Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg Vows To End Nicki Minaj Beef (Video)

Hot 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg has promised to end his publicized issues with Young Money's Nicki Minaj, six months after he blasted her "Starships" single at Summer Jam.

Rosenberg vowed to make things right again with Nicki once the New Year gets here.

"Guys, the year is almost over and once it is, so forever will be the Nicki Minaj-Peter Rosenbergy story," Rosenberg said. "Give it up though, it was a run, it was a run. I have to admit, it was fun. It helped raise my visibility, got many Twitter followers, but it's over, man, and I'll be honest, it was blown out of proportion in the first place. Listen closely, New York, and I mean this. I'm not being political, this is Peter Rosenberg to the core. I have a lot of love for Nicki. I know that probably gets the hardcore heads mad at me but it's true. I was a fan of hers." (Hot 97)

Peter also reminded fans he never had a true gripe or beef with Minaj as an artist.

"I didn't like that ['Starships'] song and I said it at the Summer Jam festival stage and then crazy 'ish happened," Peter added. "The only beef I ever truly had with Nicki was that she didn't know how to have fun with the whole thing. She took herself too seriously with the whole thing ... I'm over it man. No more tweets, no more telling me when you see me, 'Yo Rosenberg, I hate Nicki Minaj, fam. Good job!' I don't hate Nicki. I didn't do a job. I spoke my mind on one song and it became bigger than what it was supposed to be so guys, it's over. In 2013, things are going to be different. Nicki's going to go back to making that real rap, I'm going to drool over her when I see her again and, I'm going to go back to my roots; hating on the Black Eyed Peas." (Hot 97)
