42 year old Bronx rapper Fat Joe has officially pleaded guilty to tax evasion after rumors were surfacing that the rapper was in financial trouble.
The rumors came after Fat Joe listed his $2 million house in Florida a few years back to cover $139,000 in backed taxes owed to the IRS. It turns out that was just the beginning of Joey Crack’s troubles.
The rapper failed to pay income taxes for both 2007 and 2008, which would have been paid from the $3.7 million that Joey generated during those 2 years.
The Terror Squad affiliate appeared in federal court in New Jersey this morning, and was later freed on a bond of $250,000. The rapper could face up to 24 months behind bars when he is sentenced in April of next year.
