Xtatic whose Prep track has been doing well on the charts, is now officially managed by Sony Music and ROCKSTAR4000. This will help the young Kenyan rapper to gain her way on the African music map. Xtatic is another exciting rapper from East Africa after Kenya’s Stella Mwangi who is signed under a Norwegian record label, EMI.
Recently, Xtactic returned back from Johannesburg, South Africa where she’s currently working on her full length studio album with Producer Fahrenheit behind the whole setup. The young and flamboyant rapper is set to release her new fresh single from her up-coming album “WILD” by the end of the month. Her studio album “WILD” will be ready in stores before the year ends.
In a report, RCA Africa Director, Spiro Damaskinos stated that “We’re convinced that Xtatic has the kind of standout talent that will take her into many different markets and are thrilled to welcome her into the Sony recording family”. Founder and CEO of ROCKSTAR4000 Music Entertainment, Jandre Louw, was also quoted saying “We are truly ecstatic to work with her and thrilled to be part of the Sony Music team to take her and her music to fans across the world.”
However, Xtatix expressed her surprise when she said:
“I was at home and thought someone was prank calling me. I always thought that I had the skills to stand out from the crowd, but actually, a few years back I didn’t yet have the proper mix of content, flow and delivery to really do something special so this timing just feels right”.
Xtatic has two songs already rocking the air waves and we are sure that her fans are already yawning for more. Time will tell.
