BREAKING NEWS: 14 Popular Uganda Female Artists Team Up on ONE SONG.

I hope you have had a chance to listen to this amazing gospel song titled Webale, if you haven’t, you will appreciate how fast the Ugandan music industry is growing. Uganda’s female artists are talented and gifted with great vocal abilities. The song captures a gospel and inspirational message that was recorded with more than 14 voices of 14 popular Uganda artists namely;

1. Mya Baganda- Formerly of Blu3 and now a solo artist
2. Desire Luzinda; a talented singer, radio and TV presenter
3. Juliana Kanyomozi; a popular RnB, Afrobeat singer and multi awards winner
4. Jackie Chandiru; formerly of Blu3, Pam awards video of the year accolade winner 2012
5. Caroline; former contestant of Tusker project fame and now a singer with Fusion Band
6. Samalie Matovu; Diva and Pam awards song of year accolades winner for 2010
7. Daisy; formerly of Krystal Babes and Chilli Gals
8. Naira Ali; she is a great talented vocalist and solo singer
9. Renah – Formerly of Dream Girls, was once signed to Suudi Entertainment and now on a solo career
10. Ritah Kigozi – Formerly of Suudi Entertainment
11. Jemimah Sanyu- a Vocal trainer at Grayce Records, Worked with Bantu Band from Rwanda and currently with Drumex band.
12. Leila Kayondo formerly of Dream Girls and Chilli Girls and now on a solo career
13. Bella a talented Dancehall singer
14. Liane The Artiste; Diva awards Uprising Diva of the year 2011

Webale project was coordinated by Pam Award winning record producer Henry Kiwuuwa, produced by the same along with producer Jose Mayanja at Grayce Records in Kanyanya. The song was written by PAM awards song writer the year nominee for 2011, Pita Nawe.

Webale video project has been underway for more than 4 months now, under coordination of Kiwuuwa, Pita Nawe, Jose Mayanja with help of awards winning song writer Sylva Kyagulanyi and Ark Menz Film Company that is doing the shooting and direction of the video.
