In an exclusive interview, AK47, “The real truth is that we have recorded a song with Weasel titled ‘Take it to them’. But I had agreed with Weasel to keep this as a secret until the song is officially out. Infact we never wanted even Leone Island or Goodlyfe members to know about it.”
“I do not know who went on to give this information to the media. Right now, I cannot hide anything because the media and the people already know it all. The song has already been recorded. It will be out on Monday March 5th,”AK47 said, adding;
“This should clear my first communication about not recording a song with Weasel. However I am somehow disappointed with Weasel because I think he is saying so many negative things about me. In this era, we need to talk with music not mere words.”
This comes after both AK47 and Weasel had earlier denied media reports about them recording a song together.
Two weeks back, AK47 in his own words denied recording a song with Weasel. The latter reiterated to AK47’s comments with a demeaning statement.
In a Facebook post, Weasel wrote;
“Mbu I want to do a song with these bu-local artists...Manchester utd can’t play with villa fc...sorry.”
The events Weasel and AK47 are currently embroiled in are a continuation of controversy in the Mayanja music family. Minus proving to the world that their family has got music talent, they have also showed the world that they are masters of controversy and attention seeking stunts.
Jose Chameleone, Weasel and AK47 continue to appear in news mixed in negative hullabaloo. If it is not starting a fight, they are arguing on concert dates with fellow musicians among others.
