Neither Chris Brown nor Drake will have to deal with criminal charges following their involvement in a brawl this summer in a NYC nightclub. The two musicians were allegedly part of a massive bottle-hurling fight in the WIP nightclub on June 14th, but apparently there isn’t sufficient evidence to pursue a case.
Investigators were unable to use video from the club’s surveillance system because its poor quality and interviews with witnesses didn’t offer any leads, according to TMZ.
The singer’s crews, too, are off the hook and the decision by New York’s law enforcement comes as no surprise according to Drake’s lawyer Blair Berk who said, “Drake was never even a suspect so it’s no surprise.”
Brown was apparently injured during the scuffle when a bottle hit his chin as were several club goers including NBA star Tony Parker who has filed a $20 million lawsuit against the WIP claiming he suffered an eye injury.(theversed)
