50 Cent Finally Buries Fat Joe Beef:

After nearly a decade beefing, rap rivals 50 Cent and Fat Joe have finally placed their differences aside to unite for their late longtime friend Chris Lighty at the BET Hip Hop Awards taping.

After recent speculation of an on-stage tribute for Lighty, Fif confirmed he would share the spotlight with Joey Crack for his late business advisor and possibly consider a collaboration.

"Thanks Chris would have wanted joe thereRT @NoupsDream: @50cent yo man, good job. u feed people n now u make peace. Salute!!!," he tweeted Saturday (September 29).

"Ill check it outRT @AR_Knight: Now that @50cent & fatjoe squashed things a dope collabo would be nice...." (50 Cent's Twitter)

Reports of the renowned music rivals coming together this weekend emerged roughly 48 hours ago.

The upcoming BET Hip Hop Awards awards may have a fairly epic surprise in store. Sources familiar with the situation have told Complex that 50 Cent and Fat Joe will share the stage at Saturday evening's taping of the show during a tribute performance to the late founder of Violator management--and a trusted advisor of both artists--Chris Lighty. The tribute will also feature Violator acts Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliott performing a medley of their hits. BET's Vice President of Communications Tracy McGraw refused to confirm the details of Complex's report. When asked if BET could deny the same thing, McGraw explained: "That's a good question. I think we'll just go with 'Could not confirm.'" (Complex)
