2012 Channel O Video Music Awards Nominees - Keko, Navio, Toniks & Maurice Kirya Nominated.

Keko, Navio, Maurice Kirya and Toniks were the Ugandans that were nominated for the 2012 Channel O Music Video awards at an event held at The VIP Room, Michelangelo Towers in Sandton.

East Africa’s best selling female rapper Keko was yesterday nominated for Most Gifted Female Video of the Year at this year Channel O Music Awards. Make You Dance by Keko and Kenya's Madtraxx is the song that was nominated.


In the category, Keko will compete with Bulelwa Mkutukana from South Africa, Mozambican star Lizha James, Tiwa Savage and Mo 'Cheddah from Nigeria.

Last year, How We Do (remix) by Keko Town ft. Goodlyfe duo of Moses Radio and Weasel TV won the Most Gifted African East Video award.

More Ugandans nominated:
Navio’s One and Only video saw him get a nod in this year’s channel O video awards under the category ‘Most Gifted African East Video of the year’. In the same category, Make You Dance by Keko and Madtraxx was also nominated.

Maurice Kirya’s I don’t want to fight video was nominated in the most gifted afro-pop video of the year category. He competes with another Ugandan Toniks-Money by Gal Level and Toniks was also nominated in the same category. (Hipipo.com)
