Doreen Kabareebe today offered an explanation on her Facebook wall about how it all happened. "Those who criticized me on that dress, I was backstage dressing up. En besides those who matter accept me that way. F.A.C.T," she posted on her wall. This explanation might have been driven following serious thought about the issue.
Erum Kim Gomes, a PRO and Guest relationship manager at GUVNOR KLA had given a parenting lash to the model she mentored. We thus reproduce the critical advise from Gomes to Kabareebe.
I think as an Entertainment/Communications Publicist, a Fashion icon to some and also as a previous mentor and "big sis" to Miss Kabareebe Doreen, I need to say somethin to other young ladies I mentor, who look up to me and who think of me as a "big sis"...and I will use my very self as an example...so here goes; Ladies, everybody makes mistakes, to be human is to error...BUT we must never forget who we are, and what we represent, even when we make those mistakes. Women who are as beautiful as you and me, really dont have to work so hard at it or even try at it. Its simple, you wake up in the morning..en before you even Bridg your teeth..ur stunning! We have already been abundantly blessed by nature and our Creator...we dont really hv to wear fake hair coz weve been blessed with beautiful thick long black locks, we dont really hv to wear fake lashes, coz weve got these amazing eyes that guys just literally drown in..we dont have to wear the fake nails and we dont have to change our skin color PERIOD. We dont have to wear fake boobs or butts coz clearly we all see that what we've got is exactly how He(our creator) meant us to be...and we definitely dont have to walk the streets literally naked exposing the very core of what makes us this beautiful woman, coz when you are a trully beautiful woman(inside en out)...you never have to seek for the attention..the attention seeks you...
How do I know this..... I live it every day..and I dont have ’ single fake thing on me or walk the streets with my insides out to attain the immense attention that I live with constantly everyday.
Young ladies, believe in your worth, your beauty and the real natural you...and you'll be amazed at how much everybody else will too. You are the initial ambassador of your brand, and your brand is YOU!! If YOU the initial ambassador of your brand cannot repr’sent it well....then who do you expect can???
No one is sayin dont be sexy..be..but not sluty.
*If Ive offended anyones feelings, my apologies and pse dont take it personal coz it wasnt meant to attack anyone personally*
’Ms. Kabareeba, I believed in you long before anyone almost did..i know you..and I know you'll make this right, for the sake of all the little girls who look up to you and one day wanna be just like you...the way you look up to me too...your support system is still right here by your side.
#YES, GIRLS DO RUN THE WORLD...BUT WE DONT HAVE TO RUN IT NAKED#
It seems, Doreen kabareebe, now Miss Pantyless was so touched by the message that she posted an explanation on Gomes’ timeline. ’Pherrie mukwano....i cnt come out dressed liked that..u've known me for a long time compared to the fools criticizing me. i was dressing up from backstage to go on stage en the dress wasn't even that short...i was dressing up...but dnt worry am ok.’
We hope the entertainment fraternity can buy the excuse and let Doreen Kabareebe live her life. Otherwise at this rate, she may have to fall back to her childhood friend, Ian Ortega to help clean up her image. Thanks for the explanation, Miss Pantyless, it is what you had to give in the first case.Bigeye.ug
