This is what happened on Monday when The Inspector General Of Police - Afande Kale Kayihura announced that the police was going digital.
The first thing towards this move was opening up a Face book page, twitter account and Website. The purpose for this development was to capture the latest generation communication modes in Uganda today and to help the police interact with millions of Ugandans on the web.
However, IGP insists he will not take people abusing the Police online and will deal with them
