Exodus Wins 3 Accolades at the Kenya Groove Awards.

I told you about the Kenya Groove awards that celebrate the best performing gospel artists in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan and Rwanda among others.

Groove Awards 2012 grand finale event was held yesterday Saturday 28th April and Uganda was represented by gospel artists namely Exodus, Kingsley and Philla, Coopy Bly, Holy Keane Amooti, Marc Elvis and S4j.

By the end of the ceremony , Uganda’s own Exodus had 3 accolades in hand, these were Best Artist of The year (Uganda), Ragga/Reggae (I’M Walking with Alemba) And Video Of The Year ( I’M Walking).

Exodus posted on his Facebook wall “HOW CAN I THANK GOD FOR ALL HE HAS DONE FOR ME!! SOMETIMES I GET LOST OF WORDS...... WE HAVE JUST WON THREE AWARDS IN THE GROOVE AWARDS 2012. BEST ARTIST UGANDA, BEST COLLABO AND VIDEO OF THE YEAR. A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL MY FANS, FRIENDS AND LOVED ONE...OHHH HOW I TREASURE YOU. “

Groove Awards 2012 were broadcast live on KTN, they were held at Nairobi Baptist - Ngong Road. The event hosts were Uche from Nigeria and Kambua.

15. Western Song of the year- Omusango kwanje by Man Ingwe and Rufftone
16. Video of the year- Walking by Alemba and Exodus
17. Rift Valley Song of the year - Ololo by Emmy Kosgei

19. Artist of the year(Rwanda) - Eddy Mico
20. Radio show of the year - Gospel Sunday-Milele fm
21. Pwani Song of the year - Mercy D Lai
