Bebe Cool Bows To Pressure, Roofs House With Iron Sheets.

With the ever rising cost of building materials, Bebe Cool has bowed to pressure and used ordinary iron sheets.  Bebe Cool who had earlier aimed at using Decra roofing tiles resorted to iron sheets as a last resort to cut down on costs.

However Bebe Cool did not hide his happiness when he bragged that he took 'snailish' steps but has finally reached his goals.

Citing the Luganda proverb, Bebe Cool said, "Akwata Empola’Atuuka Waala."

Observers and friends say that Big Size could not allow suffering the humiliation of Goodlyfe finishing their house before him. Well, whether iron sheets or roofing tiles, we are glad the house is almost done. Thanks for attending Bebe Cool’s concerts. (Bigeye.ug)

Katogo End of Year Purple Party held with Pomp and Colour.

For an event that is happening for the very first time, there is always excitement, impatience and fear.

And for the Purple Party, the bar had been even set to high and any failure would leave a brand built over years on the wire.

But, the first ever end of year Purple Party hosted by Douglas Lwanga of Katogo TV show on Record Television went in to the records as the first most successful party of its kind.

It was all pomp and colour as music stakeholders turned up in large numbers to be part of the end of year Purple Party. The Purple Party was tremendously successful and set the standard at which other related events will be held.

Even though, there are no headcount figures on how many people were at Bull Dog Wandegeya were the event was held, by midnight, the venue was filled to capacity and entries were highly restricted.

In attendance were about 200 musicians, about 50 media personals, several event organizers such as Balaam, and Renal Ibra of High School Kadanke. This was in additional to hundreds of revelers that graced the show.

Among the musicians in the house included City Rock Entertainment, Woods, Maro, Gift, Ziza Bafana, Desire Luzinda, Moses Radio and Weasel, Jasima Ba, Tha Icon, Big Eye and his Big Music crew, Eddy Kenzo and Big Talent crew, Aziz Azion, Hilderman, Henry Tigan, Shamim of Maisha dancers, Coopy Bly, Ray, Larry, AK47, Papa Cidy, Young Mulo, Gravity Omutujju, OS, Phantom Lovins, Margla, Dan Flevor, ID-Twins, Isaac Morgan, Vampino, Viboyo, Rema and Bebe Cool among others.

The MCs of the night included Afande Kerekere, Omulangira Ndausi and MC Kats.

The event started off at a few minutes past 10:00pm with a great performance from City Rock Entertainment. This was followed by several musicians one after the other.

Bebe Cool, Rema Young Mulo, Eddy Kenzo, Larry and Coopy Bly were at their best as they excited their fans.

Bebe Cool particularly performed songs such as Cease and Sekkle, Big Size, Ndiisa Buuti, Ntuyo Zange and Kamwako.

Young Mulo did Tebakusobola, Love Me and also sampled his new song that has equal potentials to become a hit if well promoted.

Vampino, Viboyo, Big Eye, Hilderman, Aziz Azion and AK47 also had a good night on stage. Performances ended at a few minutes to 3:00am.

Tha Icon, Radio and Weasel and many others never performed even though they were at the venue.

By 4:00am, Club Bull Dog was still filled as party lovers continued to enjoy the DJ mixes.

And for an event that was organized for the very first time, the Purple Party was extremely successful.(Hipipo.com)

Tondeka Ekiwatule Knocks Out Busabalaaaa In Boxing Day Battle

Bobi Wine may for once have to agree that Bebe Cool had more fans at his Kiwatule concerts dubbed Tondeka Ekiwatule. By 4pm, people had already arrived in big numbers at Kiwatule and larger numbers of revelers were seen arriving.

Save for the people of Kiwatule, Najeera 1&2, Naalya, Kyaliwajalla and beyond who scampered for their lives from the noise at the show, those at Kiwatule Recreation centre were having a recreation musically. Truth be told, it was a sold out concert and by the time BigEye.ug left, one had to struggle to find their way through the thousands of people who lined up for one of the biggest annual events.

Back to Busabalaaaaaa, yes the prolonged version, Bobi Wine , they were the normal Rastafarian congregation. Since people have had tales of bag snatching more than at any place, the class of people that poured it at Busabala was different.

At Busabala, red-eyed men, ganja-smoking groups of youth and gangstar wannabes were seen all over. Though it was a good attendance, it was in no way comparable to Kiwatule and the battle lines that had been drawn had to be erased since the battle had been won by Team Gagamel.
For Team Firebase, till the next time, all the best.(Bigeye.ug)

Nigerian Actor Loses His Cool at Entebbe Airport.

Clem Ohameze the Nigerian Nollywood actor lost his cool at Entebbe airport, made a lot of noise and caused a scene at the airport.

It is believed that Ohameze was agitated after airport officials checked his luggage and refused him to clear up using Nairas. The airport personnel insisted that payments should be made in US dollars.
A clearly angered Ohameze began complaining in pidgin English and accused Ugandans of not respecting celebrities and making him get pushed out of the queue.

It was only until Faridah Ndausi came to his rescue that calm was restored. Ndausi asked him for his Nairas which she went and exchanged into dollars before paying and getting him cleared.

Ohameze who acted in Billionaire's club is in Uganda to work on a collaborative Ugandan movie. Well, oga, in this Uganda oh, abeg we dey no fear anyone, we only fear Golola Moses.(Bigeye.ug)

BREAKING: Margla Da' Ragga Muffin Gyal becomes BORN AGAIN.

Seems like the world is seriously ending on 21st - December...
First, it was Doreen Kabareebe aka The Pantyless Chick, then it was followed by Bad Black who also urged people to start calling her Pastor Black...

Now the Latest Bad gal to get Saved is Margla Da Raggamuffin Gyal of A Me She wants.
This can be confirmed by what she post on her Facebook Page just moments ago:

Mary, holy virgin mother, I have received your Son, Jesus Christ. With love you became his mother, gave birth to him, nursed him, and helped him grow to manhood. With love I return him to you, to hold once more, to love with all your heart, and to offer to the Holy Trinity as our supreme act of worship for your honor and for the good of all your pilgrim brothers and sisters.

Mother, ask God to forgive my sins and to help me serve him more faithfully. Keep me true to Christ until death, and let me come to praise him with you forever and ever. Amen.

Well, this comes after she went Nude online by uploading Naked Pictures on her Facebook Page which sparked sharp Reactions from different corners.
This forced the 1st Lady - Janet Museveni banning her Music Videos from State Media that her Music Videos were too Vulgar to be show live on TV.

She was greatly affected by this Ban and of late, her career has been going down on a Terrific Speed.

But all in all, its a Great Decision Margla and i personally support it because many Teenagers look up to you as an IDOL.

FACEBOOK To Be Banned From UGANDA

After a lot of haggling and discussions as far as the ANTI-GAYS bill is concerned, word around USA is that Facebook might reach a decision that will see it scrapping Uganda off its list of countries.
Apparently the gay rights activists in USA have pleaded with Mark Zuckerberg to make sure Uganda conforms to the set patterns of Facebook as an upholder of human rights. To the activists, Uganda has violated many Facebook clauses and needs to be banned for some time.

This may be good news for some few who had lost a social life, who would rather send a Facebook inbox that pay friends a visit. Zuckerberg says Facebook will be releasing an official statement soon as far as Uganda is concerned.

If the move to ban Uganda is undertaken, there will be a set-back in many companies that had built a big social media brand. Other girls will go around shoving photos in people’s faces asking them to LIKE. Uganda is now on its tenterhooks and the repercussions of being banned from Facebook will linger on in everyone’s minds.

Facebook has also outlined a method it will use if it is to go ahead with banning all Ugandans. This means whatever account was opened up from Uganda won’t be accessible to its users. The other method will be the use of MAC addresses to make it impossible for computing devices with Ugandan MAC addresses to access the official Facebook site.(Bigeye.ug)

Ndisa Buuti Video Dancers Were Not Paid.

It's nearly eight months now without any pay for the work done by the dancing team that was behind Bebe Cool's "Ndisa Buti" video shoot.

The dancers who featured in the "Ndisa Buti" video have not only been denied their dues, they have also suffered injuries and serious blows in the course of demanding for their payment.

One of the dancers, who preferred anonymity, disclosed this information during a call made to one of the BigEyeUG writer.

Talking on phone, one of the dancers explained her side of the story as her voice occasionally broke into painful emotions.

She explains, "After the video shoot of "Ndisa Buti," we didn't get our work pay, but he(Bebe Cool) promised to pay us within the agreed time. After sometime, we started calling his phone because we realized he was taking long to communicate. Every time we would call, he would tell us to remind him so that he can pay our dues."
She adds, "He then reached a stage of not picking our calls and bad enough, sometimes he would switch off his phone off completely."

Now here is the real story, "As we were coming from having fun late at night at around 3am(Friday nite), we decided to refuel our car at City Oil Petrol station on Kayunga Rd just after Kisementi. Luckily enough, as we parked, we saw Bebe Cool and his entourage coming from the supermarket and I decided to call him. When he looked back, he recognized us and came to our car as his mugged bouncers followed him." She adds "He started throwing punches to us as his bouncers looked on. For fear of being thumbed by his entourage, we drove off quickly as we headed straight to the police station. Bebe Cool and his crew followed us in their van. As we approached the police station, they turned and drove off different route."

Well, the above story was narrated by the hurt dancer who felt that the press should know it. Bebe Cool, the ball is in your hands to come up with your side of the story.(Bigeye.ug)

Seven percent of the university’s student body is comprised of international students.

METHODOLOGY

First, as with any similar list that determines which universities are ’best,’ Africa.com collected both quantitative and qualitative data to determine which universities in Africa would make the Top 10 List.

Second, we made a determination to create two distinct lists: a) Africa, excluding South Africa, and b) South Africa. If we were not to have made this distinction, our Top 10 List would be dominated by South African universities, and would not be useful to those seeking a pan-African perspective. At the same time, we wish to acknowledge the strength of South Africa’s many world-class universities, so we decided to dedicate a list that features just South African institutions.

Third, our criteria include the following: 1) undergraduate and graduate school reputation among higher education peers; 2) student selectivity for entering undergraduate class; 3) quality and quantity of faculty research, including depth of research facilities and engagement beyond immediate community, and 4) international student ratio’the degree to which institution draws students from outside of its national boundaries.

Fourth, in addition to collecting quantitative data on the criteria above, we used our extensive network on the continent for qualitative input as a ’reality check’ to the results that our data yielded. These ’reality checks’ resulted in some small, but important adjustments to the list.

We are very proud of our list of the best universities in Africa, and hope that it is a useful tool for those who seek a relative comparison of institutions of higher education on the continent.(Bigeye.ug)

Bobi Wine to sue KCCA and KK Beach.

The Kamwokya based Ghetto president, Bobi Wine, is set to sue the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) for removing his coming ‘Tugambire ku Jennifer’ posters.

The posters are being replaced with posters redirecting fans to KK Beach and Lido Beach on the same date of his album launch.

In his Facebook post, Bobi Wine said:

“Ladies and Gentlemen, Iam officially announcing that I don’t have any show at KK Beach. Whoever has reproduced my launch posters and is advertising that I’m in some kind of competition at KK Beach Vs Another artist at Lido Beach on the same date, is out of his mind” Bobi Wine further said, “preparations to sue KK beach are underway”

Bobi came back to the country from Sudan to find this going on. He is asking KCCA to show cause why his posters are being pulled down before 16th November, the day the launch will take place especially yet he had paid them in full.(Uganda24.net)

UPDATE: Dr.Jose C declares Cease Fire... But Bebe Kool fires Back.

After a prolonged Cyber war over the weekend, Dr. Jose C finally declared a cease fire on Monday morning and urged his fans to get back to work. But instead of Bebe Kool also declaring Peace, he fired back again which tempted fans to abuse Bebe kool to pulp.

Follow dis link to find out how it all started: Jose. C stings Bebe Kool in Fresh Cyber Attack.

First, here's how Bebe reacted to Jose. C's ealier post of a Balck Board:

NEIGHBOUR A, WHEN WE WERE IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THESE ARE THE LESSONS WE LEARNT:

1- CIGARETTE SMOKING IS HARMFUL TO YOUR HEALTH AND LEADS TO DESPERACY AND DEATH.
2- DRUG ADDICTION CAN LEAD TO BRAIN DAMAGE, SLEEP-WALKING AND DEATH.
3- NOT BATHING ALWAYS LEADS TO ITCHY SKIN HENCE CONSTANT SCRATCHING OF BALLS IN PUBLIC AND MULTIPLE SCARS ON YOUR BODY.

NOTE:PRIMARY FOUR LEAVERS CANNOT WRITE ON A BLACKBOARD

Here's what Jose C posted on his Facebook page dis morning:

CEASE FIRE,

FANS AND LEONE ISLAND FAMILY, IT WAS A REASONING SUNDAY,

NO HATRED!

Have a peaceful week.

"TUGENDE TUKOLE"

And check how Bebe Kool reacted with his Post:

IF YOU CANT SUSTAIN A WAR, DON'T START ONE.
LEGO CYBER WARFARE. ENO SIYAKUKASUKA MACUPA NAYE KUNYIGA MAPESA.
GAGAMEL FOREVER.
WE NUH RETREAT, WE NUH SURRENDER.
CEASE FIRE????? KU DILU KI?

One fan commented on Bebe kool's Post:

Kalungi Kalis Isaac: Bebe if d man has acceptd 2 cease fire i dont see d reason y u keep it contnuing. We lov u bt we need clean music. Never argue wit a f**l coz u'll considered a f**l too. Rmber tekaba kamwako koka but also nengalo ezitypinga zitulaga kyoli.
All i can say is that these are stupid Kiddish Fights. Both of them are behaving like Nursery Kids. Will keep you  posted in case any update.

UPDATE: Dr. Jose C stings Bebe Kool in Fresh Verbal Attack.

The people who used to be Friends are now Bitter Enemies. Right now, the Beef between Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool is no longer News. But the Rift between Dr. Jose C and Bebe Kool is growing bigger day by day.

It all started when Bebe Kool held his KAMWAKO Launch on 2nd, 3rd and 4th Nov... Then on Monday 5th Nov, Dr. Jose C posted on his Facebook page that:

I FEEL LIKE LAUGHING FOR A WHOLE WEEK!!

BUT MY CHEEKS R PAINING. I HAVE STOPPED. Have a nice week
LEONE ISLAND FAMILY. LEONE ISLAND FOREVER.

Bebe Kool played it cool waiting for Chameleone's GYENVUDDE Concert on 9th Nov at OBLIGATO, the same day as Sean Paul's Live in Kampala Concert.

On Saturday, 10th Nov, Bebe Kool posted on his Facebook Page reacting to Dr. Jose C:

Hahahahahahahahahahahah,A SMALL BAR LIKE OBLIGATO,aha KRIS EVANS MUNENE.NEIBA A WAS HUMBLED TO 120 PIPO.ODANGAMU NO YASAMA ATE GAKYALI MABAGA.

Now, this didn't go down well with Dr. Jose C who reacted with a very Harsh Tone based on his post today, Sunday 11th Nov:

I AM FORCED TO BUY A BLACK BOARD TO TEACH MY NEIGHBOUR IN KIWATULE A FEW IMPORTANT WAYS TO BE WISER AS TIME IS RUNNING OUT ON THEM.

LESSONS:

1: FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
2: WHEN TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH
3:CONSTRUCTIVE MUSIC
4:DEBT MANAGEMENT
5: and lastly KYADONDO Is toooooooo BIG FOR YOU.

Try CAPITAL PUB.

If at 45 YEARS YOU ARE STILL FUMBLING THEN YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE..

LEONE ISLAND TUGENDE TUKOLE!!!!!!!!

Whatever is going on between these two, only God knows. But i think Jose C doesn't want to admit that another artiste can also fill up Kyadondo grounds on a concert night.

Will keep you posted incase of any update.
