50 Cent Reacts To 'Forbes' Wealthiest Hip-Hop List, Talks Record Sales (Audio).

G-Unit leader 50 Cent has offered his take on getting placed on Forbes magazine's annual Top 5 Wealthiest Hip-Hop Artists list and also spoke on the perception of record sales.

In regard to the Forbes list, Fif quickly shunned its relevance compared to the Fortune 500, which does an annual ranking of America's biggest corporations.

"The Forbes list is fine, but I'm still on the wrong list. I need to be on the [Fortune] 500, the company list without it actually being hip-hop. In order to do that, we gotta do business on a whole other levell," Fif said in an interview. "[Record sales?] I can be concerned about being relevant to the culture and recapturing the energy you had once upon a time, not an actual number. It's not even about the actual number on sales." The G-Unit rapper fell behind hip-hop elite like Diddy and Jay-Z on Forbes' list.

Dr. Dre ranks third with $270 million, doubling from a year ago thanks to a major sale. In August, handset maker HTC paid $300 million to buy a 51% stake in Beats Electronics, the company founded by Dr. Dre and Interscope chief Jimmy Iovine in 2008. Birdman clocks in at No. 4 with a fortune of $125 million. He cofounded Cash Money Records with brother Ronald "Slim" Williams two decades ago, inking very favorable $30 million distribution deal with Universal in 1998. Rounding out the Forbes Five is Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson at $110 million. The Queens-born rapper earned $100 million on the sale of his Vitaminwater stake in 2007--and tens of millions more from touring, record sales and clothing--but spent freely on cars and renovations to his mansion, formerly owned by Mike Tyson. Following its public release, Forbes editor Zack O'Malley Greenburg discussed the science behind Diddy and Jay's placement.

"Number one is Diddy at $550 million. He's number one, far and away from everybody else because mainly of Ciroc," editor Zack O'Malley Greenburg said in an interview. "He's got this incredible deal backed by beverage giant Diageo. He gets a huge cut of profits and he's entitled to a split in profits of any sale of the brand. Second up we have Jay-Z. Jay-Z's one of the only artists whose making a lot of music actively. He released Watch the Throne last year -- so Jay-Z's right up there." (Forbes)

Diddy is the closest to becoming a billionaire, leading the pack with a net worth of $550 million. The Bad Boy Records founder has remained a mainstream mainstay for 15 years thanks to his knack for self-promotion. Next up is Jay-Z at $460 million. Unlike his fellow Forbes Five members, Jay-Z still churns out music and goes on tour--most recently with pal Kanye West--adding to his considerable war chest. Former L.A.P.D. Detective Greg Kading Identifies Man Who He Believes Killed The Notorious B.I.G.

Greg Kading also explains why The Notorious B.I.G.'s murder will never be solved.

Former L.A.P.D. Detective Greg Kading has once again iterated who he believes was behind The Notorious B.I.G.'s murder.

During an interview with Complex.com, Kading, who was assigned to Christopher Wallace's case between 2006 and 2009, fingers Wardell "Poochie" Fouse as Big's murderer, claiming that he was paid $13,000 for the job. The revelation echoes earlier statements that Kading told HipHopDX in an interview.

"Wardell ‘Poochie’ Fouse was paid to kill Biggie," he asserts. "At the time, he was a 36-year old member of the Mob Piru Bloods. According to several Death Row insiders and FBI informants, Poochie was a down-for-the-cause, hardcore gang member. Confidential sources from the Death Row entourage, the Mob Pirus, and [Suge’s girlfriend, identified in Kading's book by the alias "Theresa Swann"], said Poochie had done shootings for Suge in the past. Reggie Wright Jr.—who was the head of Death Row security—said Suge and Poochie’s relationship was different than other members of the gang. They had a very secretive and exclusive relationship.

“[Suge’s girlfriend] and Poochie agreed to terms," he continued. "He received two payments, one for $9000 and one for $4000. Poochie lay in wait outside the Petersen Automotive Museum. As soon as he became aware of where Biggie was sitting in his car, he drove up and he shot him.”

Kading was pulled from Big's case even after nabbing two confessions from people who played a role in the deaths of Christopher Wallace and Tupac Shakur, prompting him to quit the force. He asserted that he doesn't believe Big's murder will ever be solved.

"It comes down to how you define solved. Both law enforcement agencies—the Las Vegas Police Department and the L.A.P.D.—have drawn the conclusions that Tupac was killed by Orlando Anderson and Biggie Smalls was killed by Wardell ‘Poochie’ Fouse," he said. "Those are the facts within law enforcement. They’re considered solved internally, but the public’s definition of solved is different. They haven’t gone through the judicial process and nobody has been prosecuted."

Reports claim Kony has abduced over 60,000 children as leader of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA).

A new campaign spreading across the Internet says it has one goal in mind: Make Joseph Kony, the Ugandan leader of the violent Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) "famous" so he can be brought to justice. Kony is undeniably brutal, and the World Bank estimates that under his leadership the LRA has abducted and forced around 66,000 children to fight with them during the past two decades. In October, President Obama committed 100 U.S. troops to help the Ugandan army remove Kony.

Puff was hospitalized after coming down with an extreme migraine.

Sean "Diddy" Combs was hospitalized earlier this morning on account of an extreme migraine.

According to TMZ, the Bad Boy honcho hosted a post-Grammy Awards party at the Playboy Mansion last night, and came down with a severe headache when he returned home. Diddy's crew drove him to the hospital after becoming concerned about the severity of the migraine.

He has since returned home and is currently recovering. Sources say that he's doing better, and that the headache had nothing to do with anything that transpired at the Playboy Mansion.

French says that 'Ye's lack of a phone was the reason he didn't join G.O.O.D. Music.

French Montana recently announced that he signed with Diddy's Bad Boy Records after hinting that he was signing with Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music. Though he's remained mum about why he didn't contract with Yeezy, French spoke with Hot 97's Angie Martinez and finally revealed the reason why he snubbed 'Ye.

Tensions between rap rivals Rick Ross and newcomer Kreayshawn continue to flare, as the "Boss" has finally touched on the "Gucci Gucci" rapper's recent disses toward him.

In an excerpt from an October 2011 XXL Magazine Rick Ross feature, he threatens the 21-year-old entertainer.

He even threatens Kreayshawn, the fledgling Bay Area rapper who called Ross "fake" in a recent freestyle. "I can't wait to slap the sh*t out of whoever carries her bags," he sneers. Last month, Kreayshawn addressed the brief encounter between her manager and Ross' entourage at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards ceremony.

Minutes after Kreayshawn's manager Stretch got into a tiff with a member from Rick Ross' camp on the 2011 MTV VMAs black carpet, Billboard.com spoke with the Oakland rapper on the matter. "Yeah I don't know, man. It's just gang violence," Kreayshawn told Billboard.com "All that gang stuff I'm not a part of that." Machine Gun Kelly Arrested For Flash Mob Stunt.

Cleveland rapper Machine Gun Kelly stirred up his hometown this weekend after getting publicly arrested for flash mobbing at his local SouthPark Center mall.

The arrest took place Saturday (August 20) evening at the Cleveland mall.

Cleveland rapper "Machine Gun Kelly" was arrested Saturday after inciting a flash mob at South Park Mall, Strongsville police said. Officers responded to the mall after being tipped off about a possible flash mob taking place at 5 p.m. Although he was asked by the SPD to refrain from standing on a table, Baker did it anyway, sending his die-hard fans into a frenzy. A YouTube video shows the rapper jumping up on a table with a megaphone in the food court, but just as soon as he was up, police officers yanked him down. (WJW-TV)

Despite his arrest, MGK became a free man hours later.

Amid chaotic scenes, shown in video posted on YouTube, Strongsville police arrested a shirtless Baker when he refused to get off a table. He was later charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. The charges, however, did not appear to faze the 21-year-old rapper, who signed with major hip-hop label Bad Boy records earlier this month. After being released Saturday night, he posted on Facebook, "If havin fun with my fans and bringin the rage back to my hometown means I have to be arrested...then keep pullin the cuffs out." Kelly also took to Twitter to update fans on yesterday's whereabouts.

Flash mobs reportedly date back to nearly ten years ago.

The first flash mob was created in Manhattan in May 2003 by Bill Wasik, senior editor of Harper's Magazine. His first attempt was unsuccessful after the targeted retail store was tipped off about the plan. Waik was persistent and set up a second flash mob on June 3, 2003. He sent participants to preliminary staging areas -- in four prearranged Manhattan bars -- where they received further instructions about the event and location just before the event began. As the people gathered in the lobby and mezzanine of the Hyatt hotel, they told curious salespeople they were shopping for a "love rug" and they made all their purchase decisions as a group. Suge Knight Gets At Diddy, "They Be Doing Sh*t Like Bucky, I Mean Puffy, Whatever It Is"

Former Death Row Records owner Marion "Suge" Knight recently took a shot at former music rival Diddy and discussed his late artist Tupac Shakur's legacy.

Approached by on-street paparazzi, Knight did not restrain from saying what is on his mind.

"You know, we're working on these movies right now," Knight revealed. "These movies, some documentaries. You know. I ain't like those other dudes in the business. I'm the one who don't go snitching. Everybody else is telling. That's why I'm the only one to do time [behind bars], everybody else never go -- A lot of these dudes say they love 'Pac, but at the same time they be doing sh*t like Bucky, I mean Puffy, whatever it is...Once now all of the truth comes out on all the people who did 'Pac wrong, we still gotta be back on that mission." Knight is widely known for going at Diddy and the late Notorious B.I.G. in the mid-1990's.

A highly publicized feud with Death Row Records (in which Tupac Shakur and label head Suge Knightserved as West Coast/Dark Side equivalents to the Notorious B.I.G.and Combs) was summarily ended in late 1996, when Shakur was murdered and Knight jailed. Six months later, the Notorious B.I.G.was dead as well, and after Combs mourned his friend's death, he hit the pop charts in a big way during his biggest year, 1997. (All Music)

Knight made headlines earlier this summer for joining PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

Confirmed by Kali Bowyer, Suge's publicist, the former face of West Coast hip-hop will be working alongside PETA for their anti-dog Chaining campaign. "Dogs deserve our love and attention not a life of 'solitary confinement' at the end of a chain," Knight said via a statement. "Dogs depend on us to take care of them, to keep them safe and healthy. Machine Gun Kelly On Filling In B.I.G. & Mase's Shoes, "It's The New Generation Of Bad Boy"

Days after announcing his signing to Bad Boy Records, SOHH reached out to Machine Gun Kelly to get his take on landing on the same label home to the late Notorious B.I.G. and former artist Ma$e.

While the experience still seems a bit surreal, Kelly said his focus is getting hit records onto the Billboard music chart.

"I think the state of mind right now is I don't really feel anything until I put music out," MGK told SOHH. "Once I see my first bullet point, God-willing, on the Billboard charts, then I'm going to freak out. But until then, it's the new generation of Bad Boy." (SOHH)

Kelly also gave SOHH some details on celebrating his signing with Diddy at Quiznos sandwich shop.

"First off, Puff's order at Quiznos sucked," Machine Gun laughingly added. "He hated all his food. Personally, I love all of my Quiznos. It was a [congratulatory] dinner. He still owes me a ballin' dinner. I ordered like a Pesto Turkey Bullet. Four dollars. And some broccoli cheddar soup." (SOHH)

Last week, Kelly released a video announcing his new label home.

Kelly is most known for building a buzz in his Cleveland hometown.

While his rap name may suggest something sinister, Machine Gun Kelly, actually earned his moniker from his ability to rattle off rapid-fire rhymes. The Cleveland, Ohio native, who has been rapping since 2004, has took his hometown and then surrounding cities by storm thanks to his mixtape grind and spirited live performances. He's since toured with Big Sean and Travis Porter.
