Tyga Performs Rack City at 2013 AVN Awards.

Young Money artist Tyga hit the stage at the 2013 AVN Awards to perform his hit single ‘Rack City.’

Last year Tyga made media headlines when he announced he would be releasing his own pornographic film entitled ‘Rack City: The XXX Movie‘ playing off the title of his popular song ‘Rack City.’

Although it’s Tyga’s first foray into the adult film industry, he seems to be doing pretty well as ‘Rack City: The XXX Movie’ was nominated for 3 separate AVN Awards including “Best Wall-to-Wall Release”, “Best Oral Sex Scene”, and one that we’re not too surprised about considering he is a rapper, “Best Music Soundtrack”.

The event featured some of the biggest names in the Adult Film industry, and Tyga was there to entertain them with a performance of ‘Rack City.’

During the performance (around the :30 mark), transsexual adult film star “Vanity” comes up from the audience to simulate performing oral sex on the Compton native while he performed.

Check out Tyga’s 2013 AVN Awards performance below.

Safety first for LA porn stars as Condom law takes Effect.

Actors in many of the adult films made in America's porn capital must use condoms under a law that took effect on Monday, but the prophylactic police aren't yet on the case.

How they will enforce such a regulation remains anyone's guess.

In Los Angeles, where an estimated 90 per cent of American porn films are made, city officials and industry leaders are trying to settle on a way to ensure that there's more safe sex on the set.

Some say health care professionals should be present during a shoot to make sure actors use condoms.

'Today really is a milestone in the advance of health and safety for these adult filmmakers,' said Ged Kenslea, spokesman for the Aids Healthcare Foundation, which lobbied for years for the measure.

When the City Council passed the law in January, it gave police, the city attorney, the porn industry and others six months to recommend the best way to enforce it. They have roughly four months left.

Until then, it's unclear whether police or health officials will start showing up at shoots.

On Monday, city attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan said he didn't know the status of enforcement.

To shoot a movie outside of a studio, the law requires a film permit and condom use.

Exodus? Industry bosses have threatened to leave the city over the condom law, but proponents have promised to follow them if they set up business elsewhere

The larger porn companies that make the movies on studio soundstages don't need permits and therefore are exempt from the condom requirement. These filmmakers, however, would need one if they went to a house in a neighborhood to shoot a scene.

The question is whether smaller companies, which often shoot films at houses in the San Fernando Valley before moving on after a day or two, will pay any attention.

The head of one of the industry's largest filmmakers said he hadn't been approached about working out how the law would work and how the city would deal with violators.

'We assumed we would be approached but we have not been,' said Steven Hirsch, chief executive and co-founder of the Vivid Entertainment Group.

Mr Hirsch said about 90 per cent of Vivid's film shoots are conducted either in its own studio or outside the city.

But he quickly added that his company would immediately begin complying with the law and require that actors use condoms on any film shoots taking place outside a studio in Los Angeles.

Mr Kenslea, the spokesman for the Aids health care group, said he had heard that, although as many 50,000 porn films a year are made in Los Angeles, the city issues only about 200 filming permits a month.

Industry officials say the law isn't needed and that their audiences find the use of condoms a turnoff.

They said the industry's own requirement, that actors be tested for sexually transmitted diseases every 30 days, is sufficient.

Mr Hirsch and others have pointed out that there hasn't been a case of HIV linked directly to the making of a porn film since 2004.

Mr Kenslea and other advocates of using condoms say there have been nine reported cases of HIV involving porn actors since 2004. They said those cases highlight the ever-present risk that someone can contract the virus in their private life and then infect others on set.

When it comes to enforcement, Mr Kenslea said, his organisation is pushing for the city to use health care professionals to conduct spot checks.

The cost of the inspections would be paid out of fees the filmmakers would pay when applying for permits. The foundation has proposed a fee of $50 to $75.

Filmmakers who are caught violating the requirement would be refused future permits.

Meanwhile, Mr Kenslea's group is trying to get a measure on the November ballot that would require Los Angeles County to adopt a similar but tougher measure mandating a health permit like the ones for nail and hair salons.

Such an ordinance would cover more than 80 other cities in the county.

Some have threatened to leave Los Angeles, taking what they say is an $8billion-a-year business.

Mr Kenslea dismissed that as a 'hollow threat'.

'The industry is too entrenched here,' he said, noting that Vivid, Larry Flynt and other prominent filmmakers are all based in the city, as are the industry's actors and behind-the-scenes people.

If any do leave, he said, his organisation will follow them and push for similar legislation in those new communities. In the case of one city, his organisation won't have to.

The mayor of Simi Valley, located about a 10-minute drive from the west San Fernando Valley, where most of the films are made, has proposed an even tougher law than the one in Los Angeles. It is expected to come up for a vote of the City Council within a few weeks.

That law would require that a licensed health care professional be on any porn set to ensure condoms are being used and that the filmmakers turn over an unedited copy of their movie so authorities can see if condoms were used.

'The primary purpose here is it's a health and safety issue. And secondarily, we don't want them here,' said Mayor Bob Huber of his city of 125,000 residents.

'This is a family-oriented community and we don't want them setting up their studios in Simi Valley.'

UPDATE: 5 Possible New Jobs For Jada Fire.

Adult entertainer Jada Fire made millions of her fans gasp in awe (instead of the usual aaaaaahh) when she announced that she was retiring from the adult entertainment industry.

Where Do They Make All Of Those Sexy Movies?

But we are going to keep our…err.. heads up. She is still going to be around for us to ogle in some capacity, so we have some fun suggestions on what she can do with her free time.

1) Kindle Fire Spokeswoman
Sales of Amazon’s newest e-reader have been pretty good, but imagine if they got their chocolate flavored name-a-like to push the product? Valentine’s Day is coming up and a TV spot featuring Jada with the tagline “rekindle the fire in your relationship” would kill during the Super Bowl. Jada could even offer a one-month subscription to her site as an enticement. Lord knows once they’ve seen what she has they’ll keep coming back.

2) Singer
Ok, you’re saying, “she doesn’t sing” But seriously. If Kim Kardashian and Amber Rose can strap on a vocoder and hit the recording booth why couldn’t Jada Fire? And her name is the perfect pop star moniker. Get David Guetta on the phone and get it poppin.

3) TV
Reality TV is the De facto programming choice on networks and even Seymour Butts had a reality show about his life in the adult business. Who wouldn’t tune in to see how a retired porn star fills her time and takes her career in new places? Again, if Snooki can command an audience doing pretty much nothing, Jada could invite a few of her friends over to play Words With Friends and get folks to tune in.

4) Instructor/Lecturer
All of Jada’s fans know that she has a unique skill and talent that we don’t have to spell out here, but imagine if she gave lessons? Women could sign up or men could buy them for their ladies–or just watch. Imagine the hilarious scene in Old School with Andy Dick teaching BJs, except this would actually be sexy.

If that’s too intense she could go on the lecture circuit talking about her career and why she left the porn business. Why do one interview when you could get paid to do dozens in front of a crowd? If Karrine Steffans can work a podium Jada can.

5) Politician
Several adult stars have run for public office and one has even succeeded. Mimi Miyagi, born Melody Damayo, ran for Nevada Governor in 2006 and Ilona Staller, aka “La Cicciolina,” was elected to the Italian parliament in 1987. I know of a few local politicians I wouldn’t mind kicking out and the campaign posters alone would be collectors items. Not to mention that millions of men have already pulled a lever in her honor.
